The Fall of Ridington

Many years ago, when the world was still growing and expanding, a small village formed in a valley of a mountain range. The founders grew their village quickly and effectively, and before long they had built up the whole valley what is now called Ridington. The land was a beautiful green with trees and beautiful wildlife. The main village stretched up the east mountain side almost like homes on steps carved into the mountain. At the top of the east village, what was then just the small set of schools to soon grow into their main area of education. The west village was made of the farmers and their lands, farmlands as far as the eye could see. They worked hard to produce food for the kingdom. The south village was much like the east, homes carved into the mountain side, but this was mostly where the warriors trained, and the workers worked. The North housed a breathtaking castle, on a clear day, when the skies where at their bluest, the whole kingdom could the castle, and they royal family could see all their land. They had no courtyard though, that was found in the center of it all. A beautiful garden laid in the center of Ridington, with a small building for the people to meet with the King and Queen, land for balls and gatherings, a small lake, and a shopping center for all the kingdoms needs. And as the years went on the Kingdom grew.                 The royal family was a kind bunch, for the most part. The King, though stern, ruled with love and care with his queen on his side. They had three children, a son, Henry, who was to be the next in line for the throw, and their two twin daughters, Noel and Nevaeh. Henry and Nevaeh where gentle souls just like their parents, always bubbly and having fun, looking for adventure, some would say they would flutter away like fairies. Noel on the other hand wanted to be nothing like her family. She was always looking for trouble and couldn’t wait to run as far as she could go. It was never understood why she hated Ridington so much, rumor would say that she was jealous of Henry, or that Nevaeh took all the nice out of her when they shared a womb, but Noel would never tell if any of it was true. As the children grew, so did Ridington. They began to develop technology, an easier way of living, and grew stronger and smarter every day. The King believed that all his subjects were of their greatest value, and without people he had no kingdom, and there were no people without women, not only did they share in their part of wisdom, love, kindness, and the softness everyone needed, but they were able to create their greatest value. People.                 Though to the people, the King and Queen had little to worry about other than their troublesome daughter, they knew there was another problem approaching. The Shadow Kingdom emerged on the other side of the West side of the mountains and were growing just as quick. But where Ridington was growing up, The Shadows were just growing. They were a brutal type of people, wanting nothing more than to conquer. The Shadow King ruled with an iron fist, refusing his people the luxuries and freedoms other Kingdoms had. He didn’t value people like our King did and it showed. Their women had very little freedoms if any at all, most just took care of their husbands and children, being that that was the only thing they were seen to be good for. Word of the way Ridington held their women high frustrated the Shadow King, but most days he would just mop and complain to his wife and two children, Alex, the prince of shadows and future king, and their daughter, Elizabeth, who was as tough as the guys, if not meaner, knowing that it was the only way to stay on her father’s good side. The King knew he had to do something about the Shadow Kingdom and decided to try dealing with them the way he knew how, with compassion and friendship. After years of watching carefully as the Shadow Kingdom grew, and when all the children on both sides had become of age to almost be adults, he finally sent a letter to the Shadow King inviting him to come have dinner with him at Ridington, a mistake he would soon regret.                 It was only a few days after receiving the letter that the Shadow King and Alex arrived at the Ridington palace. They were greeted with treats and wine and lead into the grand hall were the King and his family awaited. Alex’s eyes went straight to Noel, who stood in her best blue dress that took up more space than she did, her deep red hair pulled back into twists and braids that gracefully feel into a low bun, her face almost of a porcelain angel, that looked like she rather be anywhere but there. He’s trance was broken as the King introduced the other two children, but he didn’t seem to care much about their smiles and warming welcomes. They were so proper it could have made him sick, as his own father started to return the hellos and interdictions, Alex’s eyes went back to Noel, this time he was met her glazing back at him, in complete disgust. The two families sat down for a meal, the Kings discussed what the future could bring, Henry and Nevaeh listened closely, Alex and Noel never broke eye contact. The dinner ended with the Shadow King angerly storming out of the castle, with Alex at his heels, and The King in defeat.  “I will destroy this kingdom and make it my own. They have no right to live the way they do!” The Shadow King ranted on as they crossed over the top of the mountain “by sundown tomorrow, this kingdom will be mine” “Can I have her” Alex said calming, as if his father was talking about destroying an entire Kingdom. “Who” “The red headed daughter, can we offer her into our kingdom when we are done? I would like to keep her” The Shadow King shrugged “Whatever you want son, when they fall, I will gift the land to you, and you may do as it and who’s ever left over as you, please”                 The Shadow King was true to his word, and by sundown the following day, his armies attacked. They destroyed the villages, enslaved the women, and stormed the castle. Though the Ridington’s army put up a strong fight, by sunrise their beloved kingdom was gone along with the royal family that once protected it. For the exception of Noel. At some point before the Shadow army had arrived, Noel had decided that she was leaving. She had snuck, with one bag, and made her way threw the west village and to the top of the mountain where she was met by Alex and his fathers Army. Before anyone could spot her, Alex grabbed her by the arm and pulled him quietly to his side “What are you doing out here” he hissed. “I was coming to find you in hope that your father would allow me to stay in the shadow kingdom. I promise I won’t be a bother; I just want out” Alex grinned, that was easier than he thought. “Hank, please take the princess home and straight to my chambers until I figure out what I want done with her” Noel’s heart sunk, he wasn’t going to keep her, she probably just sealed her own faith, but anything was better then going home, mainly with an army that size heading that way.                 The days to come were filled with horror as the Shadows took over Ridington. Alex had spent that time placing his most trusted men in charge so he could return home and claim who he would hope to be his future queen. He wondered if it would be love, as they didn’t know each other, or just another woman to sit at his feet. He had kind of hoped for both. As he arrived home, he went straight past his father, and up to his champers to see the girl he had been waiting to see making her way out the window. He cleared his throat “Where could you possibly be going?” Noel glared at him as she put her right leg back into the window “For fresh air, your henchmen haven’t let me out of this room for days, I’m lucky I was even fed! Is this really how you people…” She was cut off as he was able to close the space between them with three steps, resulting in her taking a step back and pressing herself against the wall. He calmly rested his hand on the wall next to her head as he leaned down to make eye contact, she had not realized how much taller he was before. “Yes, you are lucky you were fed, I’m surprised they gave you that much, you have been treated better then most of our guest, so I suggest you appreciate what you have been given” Though she wanted to run, go back to the home she had yet to find out was no longer a home, looking into his eyes gave her comfort, like she finally belonged somewhere. She shook off that feeling and gave the attitude right back to him. “I don’t need to be here you know; my family will take me back.” Alex laughed “Your family is gone, little fairy, and so is your home. It belongs to us now, but feel free, go ahead and return to your home” He laughed and moved away from her. The fire he sows in her made him want to protect her forever, a feeling he was taught not to feel. She huffed “you look tired. I would like to sleep now, come.” Though he would never let any human speak to him like that, he was tired, and the though of sleeping in the same bed as she brought him comfort, so with a chuckle, something else new for the brooding prince, they both went to bed.                 They slept for what seemed like a whole day, they were both at such ease it came easy. The following days were boring for Noel as she was confined to just that wing of the palace while Alex sat up what they needed to finish for her to stay. By day three she was over it. “I demand to go outside. You can not keep me pent up in this stupid room anymore” She scuffed as he sat on the bed to remove his boots. Alex raised an eyebrow at her, and a look she had never seen came across his face. She knew she had crossed a line, but she meant it, she needed out of this room. He went back to what he was doing “Didn’t you hear me? Or where you dropped on your head enough you don’t understand simple commands?” She crossed her arms in front of her waiting for him to give in. “Come here” was all she received. With her head high, like she had just won, she went over to him with the grace of a winner. Her triumphant stance didn’t last long before she was pulled down over his one knee, the other calmly placing itself over her legs and his hand guiding her upper half to lay flat on the bed. “Hey! What do you think your doing! Let me up right now!” she pushed herself with every thing she had to get up off the bed, but he was much stronger than she was. His hand quickly came down with a sharp smack to her upturned bottom “Nope, I think we best have this conversation right here. We will start when you decide to lay still” His hand continued to fall with great echo’s a couple more time before she gave in and laid still “fine! What do you want!?” she huffed. “Let me make this perfectly clear. You will not demand things of me, you are not the one calling the shots. I know that this sucks, but if it wasn’t for your tantum you would know by now that everything has been cleared, you will be free to leave this wing in the morning. But this isn’t what you grew up in little fairy, I’m in charge. Clear?” Noel signed and gave a quick nod. Of course, she should have waited, she should have trusted him, he was the only one ever to be nice to her, and if the stories were right, The Shadow men were not nice people. She had thought that this meant he was going to let her back up, but instead she felt her skirt be pushed away and her panties pulled down. “I would like to make sure we understand this for a long time”                 Though she argued and started to try to free herself, she was stuck. His lit a fire to her poor bottom with quick hard swats that seemed never ending. She squirmed and pleaded, she did understand, she had been in this place for a week now, she knew what the fate of other women was like. As the swats seemed to grow stronger, she couldn’t help but to start to beg and plead. “I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I’ll be nice I promise!” Alex grinned, seeing her in this state both made him smile and want to hold her, he wasn’t sure what she was doing to him, but he wasn’t complaining. “Get up” she jumped up as quick as she could and tried to rub the fire out. He also stood with her and pulled the belt out of its loops. “Bend over, hold on to the bed post there, I want to make sure we don’t have to repeat this any time soon.” She opened her mouth to protest, but before a sound could come out, his foot was up on the bed and she was once again over his knee, dangling off the ground. Ten hard quick spanks rained down before she was placed back on the ground. “I will not ask nicely again.” Nicely?! She thought as she bent down into position. Before she could finish her thought about how not nice that actually was and what not nice would be, the belt cracked down hard. Three more followed before she could comprehend what was happening, and after another four she was sobbing and promising that she understood. “Two more little fairy” she whined but the belt crashed down two more hard quick times, as just as quick the belt was dropped, and she was pulled into his lap.                 They laid in bed for what felt like a long time, Noel on her stomach up against him as close as possible while he held her and rubbed her bottom. “My little fairy, I know it’s only been a short time since we have known each other, but I am falling in love with you and plan on having you rule beside me. What you need to understand is women here are not equal like your home was, what you said could have gotten you killed, and I’ll be damned if I don’t get to keep you. You are not like the scared girls we have here, you are strong and a little spit fire, your what our kingdom needs. So be a good girl for me and don’t get killed” Noel giggled “how romantic, but you sure do talk a lot” another sharp swat to her bottom, though this time a little more playful “Oww! I was just kidding! I won’t get killed!” they both laughed at this. They laid there for the rest of the night, talking, getting to know each other, and slowly becoming best friends, something that was forbidden in the Shadow Kingdom, and Alex knew this. Before they feel completely asleep, he sighed “Tomorrow we will both go back to your homeland, it will be my job to rule that land. And the safest place for you and your mouth”                 Alex was true to his word. First thing that following morning when the two woke, they sat out to go rule over the now fallen Ridington. It didn’t take long for them to make the place their home, and for the years to come the ruled just as the Shadow King had. Noel had finally found a place that suited her and her evil self, Alex enjoyed watching his little fairy grow stronger every day, mostly with a red bottom for support. She never once thought of the family that was taken to soon, or her fathers subjects that were either gone or enslaved. They had each other, and that’s all that matter. After years of a heavy rule, word was spreading that a resistance was being formed to take back Ridington. Alex and Noel ignored these rumors…. a mistake they would soon regret.
