Leigh could somehow see those stares in her peripheral vision. All of them were shocked because of what Camera just did. He kissed him, on her head, in front of his mother and her sister. Silence devoured the entire VIP room while Camero distanced a little, she looked at his eyes directly and he did likewise, Leigh forced a smile but the guy in front of him who had just kissed her forehead did not even give her a smile in return. That somewhat confuses her, one second he is the sweetest guy you will ever met and one second he is the heartless person you will ever know.
Leigh turned her head to Emerald and smiled at her for the last time that night. Zia held locked her arms to Leigh as they were walking slowly to leave the VIP room, guard opened the door for them, outside of the restaurany their driving was waiting for them outside the car. The chaperone opened the door for them.
"What happened, Leigh?" Zia calmly said while they were inside the car, it was already moving. Leigh's head was leaned at the window and her eyes were closed even though Zia spoke she did not open her eyes because her head was still pounding.
Leigh shook her head while it was still leaning on the window. "I don't know what happened. All I can remember was Camero and I were in a deep conversation when I heard voices, that thing appeared in my head," She remembered again what happened earlier. Zia looked at her worriedly although Leigh was closing her eyes she could feel that Zia's eyes were on her.
"Your dream?" Zia asked. "Nightmare," Leigh corrected her. It was not a dream for her, dreams were supposedly a thing or a scenario in your head that would make you fell into a deep sleep comfortably. A dream should make you feel are in the clouds feeling its softness while the stars above it gave you the light to the darkness. Not a complete darkness with scary thunders and lightning that kept on electrocuting your body until you can't understand what you are feeling anymore because of the pain it brought to you.
"How was that happened? Throughout those years you are just seeing it on your dreams. Is the first time you have experienced that? Don't you remember any time before that it happened too?" The car was suddenly filled with silence. Leigh was thinking of her past reminiscing if by any chance before it happened.
"I can't recall anything. This is the first time, I guess. I think it's evolving," Leigh jokingly said but she did not find it funny even Zia did not take it as something to laugh about. She heard her older sister sighed heavily, she was worried about her especially it was her trauma. That was the day when her biological parents died and she could not do anything because she was so naive and was just a little kid.
She wished that she had a superpower who could transfer into a superhero so she could have saved her parents. But it was very impossible to happen. She does not even know why it kept on coming back on her dreams, and now it is appearing when she is awake. Leigh does not want to blame herself for the demise of her parents, but her nightmare made her feel that she should, and she felt like her parents wanted that trauma or nightmare to visit and disturb her because they were blaming her.
"Should we try to consult to a therapist?" Throughout the whole drive Leigh did not open her eyes bot until Zia spitted those words. She looked at her older sister slowly and furrowed her forehead, she did not speak and was just looking at her. She seemed could not believe on what she just said.
"I mean... do not take it as a bad thing... i think... it is helpful for you to consult a therapist or a psychologist so you could overcome that nightmare. Or they may suggest some alternative actions or thing for it to be removed on your mind," Leigh could not believe that her older sister still continued to say those things when in fact it was obvious on Leigh's facial expression that she did not like what she suggested.
"Zia... I am not crazy," Leigh spoke confidently, her tone were calm but she was a little bit annoyed. Is her older sister thought she was crazy or going to be crazy?
"Leigh! I am not saying you are... I'm just suggesting that you should because it might be helpful, you know," Leigh shook her head to Zia that made the older stopped from talking. "They what are you trying to imply? That this nightmare was just a mere creation of my mind? That I am not trying or intentionally wanting to disappear it?" She paused and looked at her directly. She even moved her body to the side to face her properly.
"Zia.. Do you even know how hard I am trying to fight these I don't know who kept on whispering on my ears? How hard I am trying to fight the urge to resist myself from crying whenever I hear those words from my own mother? Zia, I'm not crazy! I don't need anyone to help me to make those disappear. If they wanted to leave me alone, they would. If not, then paying those psychologist you know with a large amount of money will be useless!" The volume of her voice silently increased, that sudden annoyance she felt made their driver glanced at them but he did not interfere, he was just pretending that he did not hear anything.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry... calm down, you're a bit hot-headed right now," Zia surrended because she does not want to create any arguments nor conflicts with her. Leigh, on the other hand, sighed and massage her temple while she was leaning her back slowly on her seat. She realized that she let her emotion burst out and she realised it was not really necessary to be like that.
"I'm sorry. Maybe I am just not feeling well tonight. I want to sleep," Leigh said softly. She still wanted to sleep despite the fact that her nightmare just appeared in her brain while she was awake. When it first happened before, she was so afraid to the point that she did not want to sleep, scared of seeing it all over again. But she had no choice when she got so exhausted and almost got hospitalized.
Months passed as well as years, she got used to it. She will wake up in the middle of the night because of it but she will just go back to sleep and pretend that it did not happen again, as soon as she woke up in the morning she will continue her day acting like her nightmare did not choke her that made her gasp for air when she got awake by it.
For her, sleep was not a rest anymore, but she got used to it. Her resiliency made her used to it.

"So, how was you impression to her?" Emerald asked her son, Camero, while they were in the car, on their way home as well. Since they left the restaurant, silence devoured them, but Emerald did not want to keep that silent and curiosity made her ask his son.
"She's okay for me. She is a chaotic girl, but she's kind. She is somewhat loud but it was not annoying," Camero spitted what was Leigh for him. Half an hour with him made him look at almost every side of Leigh but he did not want to tell Emerald all of it because he was lazy to do. He just exclaimed what was necessary.
Emerald nodded as a sign of approval.
"I find her an interestimg girl. She is kind and gorgeous. I hope you two can get along together," His mother said cheerfully but Camero was just looking outside of the window while the car was moving. City lights and lights came from the tall buildings struck on his eyes, as it flashes on it, it flashes the memories they had just created with Leigh at the garden of that restaurant.
Camero was the type of person to notice very easily the person's over all personality in just a couple of minutes and Leigh was not the type of person who not expressing her true self, that was why Camero read her.
"I am telling you this now. I won't and will never create any intimate relationship with her. Just for work," Camero oriented her mom but the latter just smirked and touched his arm.
"Your father said that too before, but as time goes by, he fell inlove with me deeply," She confessed, Camero looked at her with a furrowed forehead. His mother thought that he was the same as his father, but Camero was so full of himself. If he said those, and it is true. He was true to his words.
"Leigh and Zia will plan the engagement party since Leigh will be the bride, but you are going to help as well. Act like a man kr act like a real fiancé, Camero," Emerald commanded him and it seemed like Camero has no choice, he had no choice ever since because same with Leigh he could do anything for the company.
