Fourth Destination: Walking in the Wind

879 Words
The camping car Max was driving enters a large area behind a simple house which they had seen several times during the vacation, with many different shapes and types. "Didn't you say we will camping in the wild?" Max answered Cliff's question, “Of course. In front of us is the office of the forest supervisor, and because this is nature, the camping car cannot go deep into the forest either. So we will put it here. We'd better hurry, we really have to make a fire before dark this time.” "Using the lighter again?" Risa follows Max who walks to the rear of the camping car, to the baggage. "Of course." Max handed 5 big bottles to Risa, "Can you bring all 5 at once?" Risa hugs the five bottles with a little difficulty, but it turns out that she could carry all five of them at once. "Stevan, bring the gallon again." After giving the gallon to Stevan, Max gives Cliff a grocery bag and one special camping equipment bag to Will. Max himself takes the tent from under the base of the car. "We still have to find a good place to build a stopover. Come on!” Max steps into the forest. The other four following with backpacks on their backs and necessities in their own hands.  The distinctive scent of the earth and the wind blows smoothly to welcome them. There is no human sound, only birds and crickets blend wirh their footsteps breaking dry branches and leaves. "Haven't we gone a little too far, Max?" Stevan stops and sets down the gallon of water to standing on the ground for a while. "Will it still go deeper?" They've walking more than half an hour into the mountain forest. Risa also feels sore in her arms from hugging the bottles for a long time. Max who was walking in front turns around to look at the others, "We are looking for a place close to the water flow, so it is easier to get food and doing all the activity." Will opened his mouth, “Wait a minute, water flow? Isn't that dangerous? What if the forest animals came there and drank at night? Isn't water also liked by mosquitoes during the egg laying season?” Max shook his head, “We're not in that thick forest to meet an animal in our size such a bear, tiger, lion, and others. Mosquitoes also tend to live and breed in warm temperatures, this mountain forest is very cold and will become colder at night." "We'll be there in fifteen minutes." Max is walking again leaving Risa and Stevan, who have to get back lift up their things. "Stevan, the bottle please." Stevan takes ones that left in the ground, “I think I can carry it in my hand. Let me take this thing.”  Risa nodded and both of them walking faster following the three people who had walked first in front. "Woah! We are like walking in the wind!” Stevan feels it as the cold wind continued to blow passes his face with every step he makes ★★★ "I can hear the sound of water!" Risa exclaimed when she heard the sound of water flowing from where she walked. “We're almost there!" The girl who had lost her enthusiasm before, looks happy again. The road is straight again and they take wide steps. "Here we are." Max puts his backpack about 5 meters from the flowing river. It just a lucky day that the man found quite a large area where there were no trees. On the other hand, the dry leaves seemed to provide them with a good haven. "The water is very clear." Stevan approaches the creek. "Can we go into this river, Max?"  Risa asked. Max furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head, “It's almost dark. You might catch a cold if you're going into the river and go back out in this low temperature later.” Max continued, "You can do it tomorrow. If you want to walk around, you can find us dinner." "What? Dinner?" Will closed his eyes tiredly, “You're right. We have to look for it from now on.” Max pointed to Risa with the lighter on his hand, "Risa is going, is anyone willing to accompany her?" Stevan shook his head as Risa looked at him, “Sorry! But I'm too tired.” The boy would want to if he wasn't tired. "Just leave it to me this night." Will pointed at himself. "Fine if you want to go. One important thing, just find food in the water tonight, but try to keep yourself dry. Shrimp, fish, snails or snails are fine. If you want to pick fruit, make sure you know what fruit it is. If you don't know, it's best if you just show me the location of the fruit tomorrow."  Max warned, "They could be poisonous or inedible." "It's pretty sharp." Max handed over two thick and long stalks.  "Maybe you need it as a tool." "One more." Max gave the netting bags to the two, "Hopefully this bag is full of catches when you guys get back." Risa saluted, "I will take that as an order, Captain!" "Let's move before dark." Wil begins to approach the cold water with Risa. The two of them seems to be watching the river and walking straight in the direction of the river. “Be careful! Don't get lost!” Stevan shouted from the camp. ★★★
