Third Destination: Great Waterfall

This morning they had a simple breakfast with blueberry and peanut butter jam bread. "You know that we can wash our clothes here, right?” Will opens the conversation. Risa responses, "Of course. Yesterday I saw the washing machine in the room next to the bathroom.” Risa drinks the pasteurized milk from the carton container, "I already proceed the machine with my clothes. I will hang it outside and you can use afterwards."

"I will wash it first, then." Max stands up.  Will follows Max into the room to get his clothes, leaving people who are drinking milk at the dinner table because Will have a lactose intolerance. "Let's just join our clothes, Max."  Will's voice come out from inside the room.

"So we're just really going to relax today?" Cliff, who become the only one left at the dining table, asks Risa. The girl shook her head in response, "You should have asked the planner, not me."  Risa cleaned all the cutlery and brought it to the sink. Seeing this, the little boy takes a big bite as his last bite quickly and rise to his feet,

"Let me help you."

"So we won't do anything today?"

Risa and Cliff come into the living room, following Will and Max who enjoy Americano in the morning after turning the washing machine. "I can't say that this is a kind of do something, so yeah, we will do specificly nothing. But we will leave at 8 later for a location this morning, the only place we will visit at this third destination." Max continues, "The waterfall."

"Is there a waterfall here?"  Risa's tone was excited.

Max replied, "There is one in the forest behind this cottages area. We'll see if it's beautiful enough to be called a waterfall.”  The man sipped his coffee, "You are all coming, right?" The three people nodded.

Max smiled, "Now it's your job to ask the person who is still lying safe and sound on the bed."

"Hah, this person again."

Risa walks into the room and sees Stevan who was still sleeping soundly. The girl approaches the lower bunk bed behind the door and patted Stevan's arm, "Stevan, wake up. Today we will go to— "

"Go away, I'm sleepy!"

Risa who was waking him up slowly, suddenly felt anger in the corner of her mouth, "HEY LAZY BUM! WAKE UP!  WE ARE GOING AFTER THIS!” Risa hit Stevan's arm really hard. Enough to make him suffer in pain and immediately sitting.

"HURRY! WAKE UP!" Risa exclaimeed once more until Stevan's head hit the upper bunk and the man stand up ignoring the pain in his head, "I'm awake!"  Not only that, Risa immediately kicked Stevan's ass, "HAVE YOUR BREAKFAST!"

"Jeez! You are really brutal!” Stevan protected his buttocks with both hands while half-running to the dining table.

The other three men laughed in the living room. That morning's spectacle was a funny entertainment for them. "You are like a husband and wife who always fight."

Stevan looking at Max sharply from the table, even though the one who just spoke was Will.  "I told you not to do anything to tease me, Max!"

Max stopped laughing, "What? I didn't say anything, lazy person."

"What's wrong with 'husband and wife who are always fighting' huh?!" Risa comes out of the room and sit in one of the dining table chairs, "I woke you up nicely before, but you ignored and reflexively kicked me out."  Risa handed a piece of bread to Stevan, "Maybe your butt misses to get a kick from me."

Stevan hissed annoyed. "We're leaving in half an hour. Get ready. You have to come along.” Of course that's what a woman order, and like everyone says, 'Don't even dare to refuse women's orders'.

"So, are we going to walk?"

Max nodded in response to Stevan's question, "The waterfall is not far from here."

Stevan stared in disbelief, "Last time you said 'not far', we had to walk half an hour to the lake where we were fishing." Max doesn't answer. The man instead turned his attention to locking the cottage.

A few moments later, Stevan again said, "Look! That's right what I said! It's been about half an hour and we haven't arrived yet!”  Risa struck Stevan's back, "Stop complaining, Freak. Just look at the view of this green forest.”

Risa continued, "I like this scent. The aroma of the soil, the damp, and fresh air mixed together. Try to breathe deeply and forget the distance.” Risa pointed at Stevan's muscular arms, "You can exercise for hours just to get arms as big as kingkong, walking like this supposed not to be a serious problem.”

"Shhh! Try to be quiet and listen well.” Max stopped his steps and everyone do the same. The sound of water! It was clearly the sound of water falling from a high place. "We are already close to the waterfall. Can you hear it?"

"Let's walk again."  They stepping back down the dirt road that had formed a path because it had been passed by many people.

Brrrrssshhhhh

The sound is very clear! There were also stones of various sizes and water passing through them. They stepped against the flow of existing water. A few moments later Risa exclaimed happily,

"That's the waterfall!"

All five lined up in a straight line and let their feet get wet with the flow of water. "It's inarguably quite beautiful." Max nodded his head in judgment, "This is higher than a waterfall that I usually see in the forest."

The waterfall only has two steps and the slope is quite steep, so it looks high from the bottom, about maybe around 15 meters.  The water falls clearly and splashes some of the water to the trees that grow little amount of lush and large amount of moss around it.

"Can we approach there?" Risa pointed to the waterfall. There was no one besides them at the waterfall today. A perfect timing, feels like private location. Max nodds, but then speaks because Risa was not looking at him, "You can go there. But be careful, first check the speed of water drop if you want to be right under the falling water.”

Max pointed out, "That water can hurt your head if it falls at high speed."

"Okay."

Risa just approached the waterfall. The pond around the water drops is getting deeper. The bottom of Risa's waist sink when she reaches right in the front where the water fell.  The girl seems to stretch out her hand to the water drops, then leaned closer and finally she wet herself under the waterfall.

Risa waves her hand, "It doesn't hurt!"

Max nodded slowly in reply, "That's good.” The man sit down in a stream of water that is only reaches his feet. "I will lie here and enjoy the running water." Max tends to sleep soon afterwards. His entire backside of the body facing the rock, wet with running water.

"How can a waterfall form in a place like this?" Will pointed to the waterfall. Max closed his eyes and answered, "You know the process of forming the face of the earth, right? Earthquakes occur everywhere and cause irregular surface of the earth. Some of them become steep ground and springs flow around it. So  This waterfall is still nothing compared to the one of the highest world waterfall like Niagara Waterfall. "

"Doesn't it feels pain?" asked Stevan, who had been watching Max lying on the rocks.

"No—"

"Hey, what do you want?!" Risa with her entire wet body suddenly came to the four men then pulled Will and Stevan.  "Let's clean yourself under the waterfall!" Risa pulls both of them down the waterfall.

"Jeez! This is so cold!"

Will hugged his body that doused by the water above him.  Stevan himself had run away from under the waterfall. "Stevan!  Don’t go! Wait here! Just watch what will happen if you dare to step out from the water!"

Again, a threat. Stevan sighed and sank himself into a circle full of water in front of him which was quite clear with rocks at the bottom.  It doesn't hurt even though the rocks are big enough.  Perhaps because the stones at his feet were not eroded into sharp angles by the waterfall, it was erored smoothly with water flows.

Risa herself, no one know since when she had returned to the stream and kicked the water around Max's lying down head, "He-hey!" Max sit down abruptly because his face feels the sprinkled water. "Wake up!" Risa pulled Max's arm forcefully and after succeeding, the girl also pushed Cliff's back.

"Come in, little boy!" Risa pushes Cliff until the man slips and fall down into the water. "It’s dangerous! And once more, don't call me with little boy!" Cliff protested after his head comes out from the water and he rubs his face.

Risa swimming round and round with random movements in a small pond under the waterfall. "Feel so fresh, isn't it?" Max says after Risa come out of the water. Risa nodded excitedly. "Again, you chose the right place!"

"Risa, come here!" Stevan signaled Risa to get on his back.

"Wow! When was the last time I rode on your back while swimming?” Risa immediately approached and hugged Stevan's neck. "We've never swim together since swimming lessons in elementary school are over, Freak."

"Get ready!" Stevan called out to Risa.

"Get ready for wha—"

Stevan drops on his back and both of them fall.  They came out of the water afterwards.  Risa coughs a few times before punching Stevan's arm, "You're still doing it, Stevan! You are really such an elementary school kid!”

Stevan laughed contentedly, "And you are slowly returning to the Risa I knew in elementary school too!"  Risa pull Stevan's shoulder with all her power to knock him down. The other three men can just watch with their shivering body under the waterfall, looked at Risa with chattered teeth, "Risa! You're so annoying!"
