1892 Words
"Today you will teach me how to drive the campervan, right, Max?" Max looked at Risa, "Actually after this we won't drive campervan anymore, Risa. So it's a bit useless to learn it. " "I don't accept rejection." Risa folded her arms firmly. Max drinks the warm milk, "Then why did you ask the question at the beginning? You should have just made a statement,” He said as his hand put the glass back on the table, “It looks like you haven't done your 'habit' in the morning, Risa?” Max changed the subject. "What?" Risa turns her head to the direction Max pointed, Stevan's cloth chair is still empty. Max leaned his shoulders and folded his arms when he saw Risa got up and walked into the tent.  He is ready to see the routine morning view. ★★★ "I will go back to sleep after this." Stevan again have some problems with the beginning of the day. "Why are you so lazy to start the day, Freak? I don't understand you being this lazy. You were always be the one who woke me up when I should run a schedule or I had to go to the school after a tiring day.” Risa bits her apple, "You were always one step ahead than my managers when it came with waking-me-up-, always seem to be the more diligent." Stevan snorted irritably, "I'm not lazy, and even until now, I don't feel that I'm as lazy as you say.  Note that, Freak.” The boy continued, "I have the capacity of ordinary human energy that can do activities and rest without have to force my energy." Stevan pointed the other four, "While you all have more energy and you always force it to the maximum capacity." Risa and Will are working in the entertainment industry with crazy working schedule which are certainly not the same as office employees working hours. Stevan knows very well that the entertainment industry does not know day and night in filming, live, shooting, and rehearsal. In fact, Stevan was concerned about Risa's condition, which always uses almost her 24 hours a day. Cliff is also have the same busy activities for sure. The little boy clearly moves without stopping almost 24 hours to practice and prepare for his debut. Max himself is already, kind of, accustomed to and has a passion for adventure, vacation, and environmental conditions like this. Only he has no high intenstity of activity. So Stevan certainly gets tired more easily when compared to the four in this kind of daily life vacation. "Can't I just sleep in the tent today since we have nothing to do?" "No!"  Risa, Max, Will, and even Cliff said that together. Stevan's mind swearing at humans who had no compassion around him now. "OK!  I'll just sit and watch you guys having fun. This vacation was not as easy as I imagined." ★★★ "How can a girl who looks short like you reach this campervan gas pedal. It seems like you are not as short as I thought all this time.” Risa turned sharply toward Will who was sitting in the backseat, seeing Risa practice driving te campervan closer. "I’m not short.” Risa is right. It’s only Will that’s really tall. This man even taller than Stevan and Cliff who is pretty tall. “Why did you start saying an annoying thing like Stevan? Looks like you have to stay away from that stupid guy." Risa looks at Stevan who ate a box of ice cream. Some kinds of berries can be seen on his lap, which were sitting leans back in a cloth chair. That chair will part with him tomorrow morning. The boy took out cold foods before Risa began training this afternoon. "Let's begin. So first thing you have to do is ... " Cliff and Will hold their laughter when seeing Max, whom again speaking too much to teach someone. Will thinks Max will become a teacher if he is bored with adventure. Cliff himself focused on seeing Risa who was busy moving the gears and kept asking 'Is this right?' To Max.  This girl definitely can do everything. Risa just learnt the theories and all the buttons in 10 minutes. The girl controlled the campervan back and forth in only 15 minutes. Thirty minutes passed and she could turn right and left smoothly. The other thirty minutes she spent practicing parking and making everything smoother and also driving faster. "Now we're going to Odelle's Farm. We will fill this campervan's water tank. " Risa confidently moves the campervan. Cliff again felt that ‘the two' had clearly similarities that he himself could not deny. Patrick waves to them when he see the campevan coming. He was in the back of the farm, where the water hose outside the fence was installed. "You guys can — you drive it?" Patrick was a little surprised, while Risa only replied with a shy grin. "You can fill it from this faucet." Patrick pointed to the water tap, "After that please roll back the hose. I have to release sheep for grassing now.” Patrick leave and a moment later and Max immediately fill up the water tank. "You're going to take care of the excreement tank again, aren't you, little boy?"  Max said to Cliff who saw his activities from the side door of the campervan that was opened. The man chuckled irritably, "Don't call me little boy!" Cliff continued his complaint, "How come the sloth Stevan has never had a part to dump the excreement tank? Why do I have to keep doing it." Max shrugged, "There is no special reason.  It's only because you did it from the start.” Cliff chuckles, not satisfied with Max's answer. "I'll do it for the last time today." Cliff stepped back into the campervan. Max shook his head even Cliff can't see that, "Maybe tomorrow is the last, little boy." "Stop it!" Cliff exclaimed. "Hey, little boy. Can you see if the water content percentage is already 100%?” Cliff just look slightly from the corner of his eyes, "Not yet!" But shortly after Cliff said that, the water tank spurt back its water, even spurting it on Max's clothes. Max shook his head while pulling out the hose, "He is really a little boy." Max looked at the front of his wet shirt. Now he has to dry the clothes next to the campfire. ★★★ The five 'escapers' are now sitting in a circle around the fire. Max hanging the wet clothes beside the campfire. "We have some leftover sausages and corns from the farm. I also made clear soup for the complement. We are having barbeque again today.” Stevan placed the corn that had been cleaned and sausages, that skewered neatly with the skewers left over from the first day, onto the dining table. Stevan looks again at Cliff and Risa sitting far apart and left one chair in the middle for him.  Stevan said to Cliff, "Stand up and move, Cliff. This is the seat I have been sitting on all over the day. It's mine” Cliff looks at Stevan who is acting strangely and looks like the boy was hinting something like 'This is your chance to make up with her even, even if it's a little' with his gaze. Cliff finally stand up and shift. Risa stared at Stevan with a murderous look. But Stevan ignored her. "Stevan! You are really!" Stevan shrugged his shoulders, "We will be together for a long time. Until when will you going to behave like this. Make up with him.” The boy will take care of Risa's anger at him later. "You have to make up tonight. In front of us.” Stevan pointed to both, "You are childish." "You're also childish, lazy bum." replied Will, “Say it like you’ve never had any problem with Risa.” The man reaching for some sausages and corn for him and Max that seat is on the other side of the table. They toast it directly into the campfire. "You ruined my wise character that's just exploding out, Will." Stevan points to Will with a sausage which he brings to the fire afterwards. The other hand, Cliff's hand, also seemed to grab several sausage skewers and handed some to Risa. The girl again awkwardly accepted something Cliff's give. "What about this second destination?" Max said it few moments later, shortly after the two sausages in his hand were already cooked. The man leaned back in his cloth chair and stared at the bright, star-filled night sky. "Isn't this as beautiful as the expectations?" "More beautiful than I expected." Risa replied, "This is far beyond the expectations. I will not regret coming to this place." "Me too." Stevan continued, "Although it's very tiring, but I'm not saying it's boring. This is kind of fun-tired. You know what I mean, right? It's great to be able to help a farm and sleep on a savannah-wide grassy ground." "You're too complicated." Cliff this time mocked Stevan. Before the man hit the back of his head, Cliff said, "But I know what you mean." Cliff smiled at the beautiful burning fire in front of him, "I will not exchange this happiness for anything." "Yes. I also feel more relaxed here." Will takes a bite of the corn, "I will miss this very much. The moment where we surround a campfire and talk about the day. I think I will miss it more when we return to reality.” "It's still a week. You don't need to rush thinking about reality.” Max said casually. The man biting sausages for the umpteenth time. "I already feel really close to all of you." Risa said again. The girl turned her gaze to the sky, "Once more, thank you for coming with me." The four of them smiled at the girl who did not look at them.  It seems, they also have to thank Risa for the journey and the beginning of friendship between them that started by her. "Cliff, I'm sorry." Risa did not look at Cliff even the slightest, "You keep trying to act normal to me even face, my attitude looks like i'm angry with you." Risa smiled, "Even though slowly, I will try to behave like before to you. Sorry for making our relation a bit apart." Cliff didn't take his eyes off Risa in the slightest. He can feel his heart swell happily. Hid smile spreads and widened every second. "Don't be too happy. You're like someone who is in love with her." Stevan broke the calm after a while. "Don't mess with my bestfriend, dude. Don’t you dare trying to take her heart. You don't suit her! " Cliff smiled mysteriously to Stevan, "I'm not in love with her." Cliff whispered really softly that no one could hear, "Our relationship is closer than a pair of lovers." "What are you saying? Want to be a lover?!" Stevan clasped the back of Cliff's head and the little boy clasped him back. While the other three trying to stare at the starry night sky despite the crowd atmosphere made by Stevan and Cliff make the situation's not support to do stargazing. “Calm down, you two!" Risa stood up and hit the peak of the two noisy boys 'heads. She is lying down on the grass afterwards. No matter the hair and clothes that will be dirty, the view of the night star in the open land is very beautiful. The four men followed Risa and lay down in a line to look at the starry night. It was the sight that close their last night at the second destination, Savannah and Farm. ★★★
