"Hiro!" Hori scrambled down the stairs and practically leaped in order to reach the bottom floor faster than anyone. Ignoring the shock of electricity that ran on her leg due to her landing, the blonde girl hurried after her brother.
The fall was not that far, so Hiro did not actually lose consciousness. Nonetheless, his whole body is rendered useless as an invisible eye dragged him to who knows where. His eyes were kept closed and he could do nothing but accept the cruel fate that has befallen him.
He thought that the darkness that currently surrounds him would scare him out of his wits, but no — Hori's repeated cry of his name, her voice cracking with every call, with each fall of his name on her lips filled with fear, Hiro's heart clenched.
