The grip on him eased and Yue took huge gulps of air. His ears were ringing but his hazy mind cleared. His eyes — the pair of amber orbs that glowed like jewels — were focused on the platinum blonde before him, the usual gentleness held in his gaze gone, only a blank look as his mind whirred. Even as his ears rang, he still heard everything.
Why? He wanted to ask, but surely something like what Princess is forgivable seeing as how it did inflict permanent damage. I should not get angry.
Alas, the dark entity found mirth in their caving friendship. With a hiss from the snakes coiled around him, their hold tightened once more but only to the point of pinning him from where he stood.
"Sky…" Princess seethed, her glare piercing, and Sky whimpered.
