As soon as Catherine walked out of my office I left out a loud sigh. It had to be done. I should have been the one to call her and go meet her but it wouldn’t be Cath if she didn’t do it her way. She was not a part of my life anymore and I doubted that she wanted to remain friends after this. It hurt. For both of us.
