Saturday, 26th November 1442 LATE PM "Great Elven King, how dare you go off leaving your royal subject in the hospital all alone and hungry and also losing one leg...! You are being unfair, do you know that? Artemis and you are both having the time of your life and here I am being either dead or alive and fortunately the new airship was able to airlift me right on top of this hospital's roof...!" Aragorn just stared hard at his daughter and then laughed out loud thinking that his daughter must be feeling hungry after she had been wheeled out from the surgery room and now resting in the recuperation room. Priestess Isabela had not done anything much for the preparation of the regeneration of the injured leg since the injury had managed to be stopped from spreading upwards. Right now the injury was already close to her hips as most of the scarred muscles and tissues had been scrapped away and all was left was a stump and had been bandanged and disinfected. "Fa... I mean Great Elven King, I feel much better now that I can see you and Artemis here with me and accompanying me until I recuperate from my injuriies." "Hey, Artemis...don't you feel jealous since I am here longer than you and also be savouring what you had been eating all these while, huh? Hahaha..." Seeing Aerin in a rather joyous mood despite sustaining such injuries, we all felt much better thinking that Aerin would be in good hands once she started off with the regeneration process after this. Besides, this would also be a test for Pristess Isabela since this would be the first time she would be dealing with another mythical race with a different kind of injury. As for Artemis before, his injuries was not that grave and it was a clean slice from a cleaver. But for Aerin's case, it would be much different since the injuries involved alot of tendons and muscles as well as nerves and such. A normal surgeon would take weeks to repair the injury areas, much less to regenerate them...! "Daddy, would Sister Aerin be able to walk again? She had nearly lost 90% of her leg and unlike Brother Artemis, her injuries were considered as quite serious, don't you think so, Daddy?" "Yes, Daddy, since Brother Artemis had gotten a new left arm and is much stronger than before, do you think Sister Aerin's right leg, once it grows out from that bandaged area, be much stronger than it used to be?" "Haiyoo, my dear children. Daddy is not doing the regeneration so it would be best if you direct the question to Priestess Isabela instead, don't you think so, Isabela?" "Yes, you are right, Your Majesty. His and Her Royal Highness, Sister Aerin's leg would not be as strong as it used to be once it had completed the regeneration, but once the process of recuperation is complete, I am sure that Sister Aerin's leg would be stronger than it used to be, and not only that, it would enable her to run, leap and do almost anything that she had  used to do with much strength than before." "Wow...! That is pretty good news, don't you think so, JR? At least we do not have to worry once the regeneration process from Priestess Isabela had started and can look forward for her to be up and about when the time comes." HRH Amy highlighted to HRH JR and everyone seemed to nod their heads when the little toddler spoke up with such confidence. Aragorn seemed rather relieved upon hearing those positive remarks. As for Artemis, I could see that he really missed the hospital food that would be served at least 5 times a day and would be filled with all the goodness of blood increment ingredients such as liver, kidneys et cetera...! "Its already late in the evening. We will let Aerin have her supper and then she would be resting on bed. Besides, my shift would be over pretty soon and I would not be here all the time." "There would be a night nurse on duty and she would be able to attend to Aerin's needs. Besides, there's nothing we can do much right now but to let Aerin have her full rest instead." "Do not worry about a thing, everything should be going smoothly afterwards. We would be wheeling her in after breakfast, put her on heavy sedation and then I would be trying to see how I could visualise on her leg." "Since the wound had been cleaned earlier, with the disinfectant placed on the bandages, there would not be any form of infection whatsoever. Tomorrow I would be giving all my best to visualise her leg and perform the regeneration process and it would be smooth sailing thereafter." "Your Majesty, could I propose something that might take your time off?" Priestess Isabela was trying to propose to me something and I decided to give her a listening ear so at least theres something new for me to do and also to serve the community. "Go right ahead, Isabela." She nodded her head and cleared her throat. "Your Majesty, I had heard that you would be having those obsidian and mithril pieces and I am thinking that there must be some use for those mithril pieces to be able to withstand the volcanic like substance from the three headed hellhounds that would be a thorn at our militia's sides." "Would you be doing some research for those mithril pieces and see if i would be able to withstand the heat from the volcanic saliva from those three headed hounds by its single property or maybe you do have other methods on infusing them with your blacksmithing skill to make a much harder and lighter than steel armour piece?" I listened intently and i knew that what she had mentioned earlier was true. I am only on Level 1 Blacksmith and there would be a long way before I become a Forge Master at Level 11 onwards." "I would need about 800 more recorded strikes before I break through to Level 2. At the mean time I have to tell my family that I would be gone for at least 3 hours in the actual world to be in the realm for at least 9 hours straight to perform my tasks. "At the meantime, I do have some pieces of steel which I think the Old Jack and the Durham Boys would be able to experiment on. We do have Priest Michael who would also lend us a hand in giving us those watery wavy design metal globules so that we can mix and match the components." "I am sure the experienced blacksmiths would be much better at those rather than me." I reassured Priestess Isabela and she nodded her head. She knew that I had not disclosed much information about my realm in the presence of others but just scratch the surface to share the information around. "Alright then, Isabela. I guess you had done what you are supposed to do for today and there would not anything else you would be doing. You may take your leave and then return on duty the next following day." "Yes, Your Majesty. Thank you. I take my leave now. If there's anything else, you may drop by the Guild or straight to my place. Other than that we can still meet here tomorrow by 8 in the morning after the breakfast at the outdoor dining area." "Alright then, Isabela. You have a good night rest then. We would accompany Aerin here right until she feels sick of us and wanted to sleep and rest for the first time like us on the fluffy bed. Hahaha..." =*= "Here we are, Aragorn, this is what used to be our domain but right now we had moved out from here and lived together with the common folk. I...errm...had a dream somehow and that was the reason we had moved away from this domain and had made this domain to be one of our temporary accomodation area for the guests like you." "Come on, I will show you your rooms. The rooms here belonged to the guards on standby. This two watchtowers here used to house the guards to man the perimeter against beast and intruders. Right now our perimeter had expanded at least 3 miles off and these two watchtowers had been abandoned." "But the soldiers remained here to safeguard our Main Treasury where some monisters would be here to issue the salary for the workers. I would be bringing you around in the day to see what else we offer to our townfolks." I showed Aragorn, Artemis, Doc and Perky the interior of the domain as Amadeus was assisting the senior members of the board to take down the induction of the new citizens, even though they are from a different class altogether. There was a stretch of orchard fruit bearing trees and also an endless stream that wounds around the whole perimeter to separate the town square with the first cluster. He, at first failed to notice that the season outside of town and the one under the protective climate controlled dome was very different. It was not until the next morning that he noticed there was not a mist that would be normally present around the orchard fruit bearing trees behind the domain as well as the extension of the River Ure. "By the way, Aragorn. The piece of ornamental that was hanging on your neck is made from mithril, am I right? In that case, how much heat does it need to be able to smelt it down to make those pieces?" Aragorn held the piece that was hanging on his neck and caressed it. It seemed that the piece was rather valuable and sentimental to him and he explained that the mithril pieces that was given by the Dwarves before was smelted using volcanic type of rocks which was at least 3 times hotter than the coals from the normal blacksmith. In that way the mithril would then be forged as normal. Then as quickly as he explained about the methods of forging mithril, he changed the subject about the accomodation instead. "You have such a great domain here, His Majesty. I like it very much and I assume that you had someone's help to plant all these for you? By the way, its close to winter now but I do not feel a hint of end Autumn right here in this town. How come is it this way?" I explained to them regards the protective dome membrane that also acts as climate control for the whole of this town. No projectiles would be able to penetrate this town and then the climate within the town would always be in between Spring and Summer for as long as Priest Shelton is around. "Oh...Is that so? I have to applaud to you, His Majesty. You have made a wise choice in gathering up these people who needs the protection from others and in turn be of service to you. This is truly remarkable and no wonder the weather here is very pleasant indeed. So your crop fields would be harvested all year round, am I right, His Majesty?" I smiled broadly as I explained that Priestess Penelope was the one that helped the town with the bumper crops where the crops would yield a harvest every 10 days and this helps the growth of the town in a more effective manner. "W-H-A-T...??? A harvest every 10 days? Is it the same that goes for the Baobab trees that Artemis had been telling me about? Your orchard fruit bearing trees would be full grown in 3 years and it could be done in 3 weeks? As for the Baobab, it would be 3 months instead of 3 years to reach half maturity as well, am I right, His Majesty?" "That's right, Aragorn. Come on guys, let us take a walk around the town. We had been to the hospital last night and next to the hospital is the school where the children here will have some compulsory education during their lifetime." "They would be learning how to read and write and also be able to read maps, learn how to count et cetera. On top of that, they would be streaming into other trades and professions and further their studies." "Here...this is the daycare centre for children under 0-24 months, a kindergarten for children aged 24 months to 36 months and then followed by primary education and so on. The lower floors are for the juniors, the middle ones are for the graduating primary classes and the third floor would be for those in secondary and tertiary levels." Perky was delighted to learn that we had such a curriculum that had been installed for the education of the children in the day as well as working adults in the evening. It was peering at the school and seemed to have a lot of thoughts inside his head that he wished to question me.
