I quickly got dressed in my leggings and threw on a sports bra, only pausing briefly in the mirror to admire Ian’s mark on my neck. I looked at all three of my marks and gently ran my fingertips over each of them.
Ian’s was still a little tender, but it felt so good to finally be connected with him, to all of them. I couldn’t help but smile at the realization. I took one more look and then made my way out back to where my mates were waiting for me.
We warmed up with a quick run and some exercises before it was time to get into some more ground and fight training. Tomorrow I would face Ronan and even though I was ready for him, something just still didn’t feel quite right.
“So, who’s up first?” I asked, looking between my mates.
No one said anything but Aiden took a step in my direction and slowly started to circle me with his hands up. I was focused, waiting for him to strike.
With half a second’s notice, Damien, who was now behind me, leapt at me with a strong fist coming for my shoulder. I barely managed to dodge out of the way. If it weren’t for my advanced abilities, he would have caught me.
I turned towards Damien, trying to put more distance between us before he struck again when Aiden tried to come at me with a kick from my side. I quickly jumped up and over, just missing his leg when Damien tried to come at me again from the front.
“So, two against one, huh?” I said with a smirk as I tried to keep moving so as to keep both of them in my peripheral vision.
Suddenly, Ian’s strong arms wrapped me in a bear hug from behind.
“Better make it three against one.” He whispered in my ear before picking me up and roughly taking me to the ground.
“You have three seconds to get yourself back up before Damien will be here. What are you going to do?” Ian said calmly.
I struggled against Ian for a second as I saw Damien take a step toward me, Aiden was coming up on my side. I didn’t have time to think, I threw my head back, almost breaking Ian’s nose, causing his grip on me to loosen enough that I could roll my body off of him on the other side, keeping all three of them in front of me.
Without missing a beat, Ian was back up on his feet and stalking towards me alongside Damien.
“Sorry” I said while still keeping an eye on them.
I noticed a little blood coming from his nose as a result, “Don’t be, I’m impressed.”
“Ready princess?” Aiden asked with a smirk.
I quickly closed my eyes and focused. My mind drifted back to the masquerade ball when I fought those rogues simultaneously, I said a silent prayer to the Moon Goddess and called on my wolf, trusting in her speed and her strength.
“Do me a favor?” I replied, opening my eyes and relaxing my fighting stance, “Don’t hold back.”
All three of them came at me and using every ounce of my wolfs abilities, I managed to continue to fight them all off and was able to get them into submissions. With everything that was coming, I didn’t want to hurt them, and they weren’t trying to really hurt me. Our tap outs usually consisted of a quick kiss before we would jump back and go right back at it.
We kept this up for an hour and I was exhausted by the time Aiden called it. It took a lot of focus and concentration to keep tabs on three individuals at all times during a fight, but it was exactly what I needed. Alpha challenges are supposed to be one on one fights, a fight where your sole focus is on your opponent and your Beta keeps watch on what’s going on around you. But we had a war coming, and wars didn’t follow rules; I had to be ready for anything.
“Damn baby girl” Damien said between breaths, “I am so glad that you’re on our side. I’m starting to think you could stand a fair chance of taking Blood Moon.” he gave me a wink.
“I don’t need to take what’s already mine” I said, joking back with him.
“It’s amazing how quickly your body and senses can adapt. Being able to fight how you just did takes top warriors’ years and years of training and practice.” Ian said with a kiss.
It was nice to see that looking between all three of my mates that they were almost as sweaty and breathless as I was. I took some pride in knowing that I can handle them more and compete more at their level. I want to be able to match their strength and their skill.
I knew that we had to be heading into the office soon. We had a meeting with Keegan, Lucas, and some of the top elites who ran the patrols, but there was something important that had to be done first.
“Shall we go inside and get changed? We can pick up lunch on the way.” Aiden asked the group, bringing me over some water.
Damien and Ian started to speak when I interrupted, “Actually there is something I need to do first”. I smiled at them as they looked at me confused for a moment, “It’s time. Can my wonderful mates please shift for me?”
They smiled at each other for a moment before they started to undress. Thankfully, once their clothes were off, they shifted pretty quickly. If I had to stare at them all naked for too long, there would be a change of plans.
A thought occurred to me as I watched all of my mates change into their massive wolves. I think I can only give this blessing or gift from the Moon Goddess when someone is in wolf form, since that is my form of the Moon Goddess. I shook it off as Aiden’s wolf came over and licked the side of my face.
I reached my hand out and stroked the midnight fur on his head before kissing his nose.
“You ready?” I asked in his mind and his wolf nodded.
I had to look up at Aiden’s wolf, since on all fours they towered over me, but I placed my hands on both sides of his face and closed my eyes. I could feel the warmth start to spread through my chest, extending out my arms, and into my hands, passing it to Aiden. I leaned my head forward and placed my lips on his muzzle, letting my love flow through as well.
Once I was done, I moved over to Damien and repeated the process, also kissing his wolfs muzzle and infusing my love into the light and warmth that embraced me. After a few moments, I then went to Ian and repeated the same process once again.
After I was done, I stepped back and looked at my three beautiful mates. Like the others, their wolves were even larger, more muscular, fiercer. Aiden and Damien’s fur was blacker than black, they were beautiful, and Ian’s fur was surprisingly almost a black color itself now. Any wolf in the night would mistake him for an Alpha, only standing next to Damien and Aiden’s obsidian coats could you tell that there may be some grey in there.
Unlike the other wolves that I have gifted, not only did they now have the white crescent moon around their right eye, but they also had the tattoo of the crescent moon on their back, similar to mine. Whereas my tattoo was purple, theirs were white.
“Holy crap! Are you guys seeing this?” Aiden said in a group mind-link.
“This is incredible!” Ian replied.
Damien’s wolf suddenly took off at full speed and jumped high in the air, landing thirty feet away, “I feel unstoppable!”
I couldn’t help but laugh as I watched them prance around like giddy little boys as they started play fighting and running around. I was suddenly overcome with a wave of exhaustion. I felt like I could pass out. I wanted to sit but couldn’t open my eyes to find my way to a chair. Before I could panic, I felt Aiden’s strong arms pick me up into his arms and take me over to the chair sitting down with me on his lap.
“It’s ok princess, I’m right here.” He gently stroked my cheek “Damien, water” he called.
Damien quickly brought over some water and held it to my lips so I could drink. After a few moments, I took some deep breaths and began to feel better, the lightheadedness subsiding.
“Thanks, I didn’t mean to scare you guys” I said, looking out at Ian and Damien’s worried faces. I was sure if I turned around, Aiden would be equally as worried.
“Are you ok?” Ian asked as he rubbed my leg.
“I’m ok, that takes a lot of energy and I guess, three is my limit” I said with a small smile.
Aiden leaned down and kissed my cheek. “We’re not going anywhere, so you just rest into me.”
“Woah, Damien!” Ian called excitedly, “Your tattoo wasn’t just on your wolf!”
“What?” Damien tried looking behind his back before turning around and there it was. He now carried a tattoo like I did. “Ian, you do too!” He then got up and walked around and looked at Aiden’s back. “And so does Aiden”
“Damien, you look bigger.” Ian replied, taking him in, as he now stood.
“Dude, it’s always been big” Damien replied in a suggestive manner, making me and Aiden laugh.
“Shut up, but no for real, I think you’re even taller.”
At this point, we started to look at Damien and he did. Aiden signaled for Ian to stand, and we noticed the same thing. I could feel that Aiden’s arms around me even felt bigger now that I paid attention.
“It’s part of the gift” I replied, “You are all now taller, stronger, faster, your senses are more heightened, and you will heal quicker.” Boy, this talking thing was still making me tired.
“But what about the tattoos? No other Alpha that you have gifted with abilities has had your tattoo on their back, let alone anything that carried over into their human form.”
“It was the kiss,” I replied, “I am, in a way, connected to the Moon Goddess, and you are all connected to me; we are connected with each other. A part of my heart and soul belongs to each of you, that is why you carry my mark.”
Aiden embraced me harder, Damien and Ian were kneeling in front of me, both caressing my legs, all of them looked at me with so much love in their eyes.
“We love you Camille, so much” Aiden whispered into my ear, “Now let’s get you something to eat, it will help you to regain your strength.”
Aiden carried me inside and Ian made me a sandwich. After a few bites, I could feel my strength returning and was feeling like myself again. I knew I was back to feeling like myself when I took note that all three of my mates were still naked, and I could feel my arousal start to build.
“I think I’m ready for a shower and then we can head into the office?”
“Baby girl are you sur. . . .” Damien stopped his sentence when I stood up off Aiden’s lap and started taking my clothes off in the kitchen. Within a few seconds, I too was standing there naked.
“Who wants to join me?” I asked, putting my hands on my hips, my arousal was pooling between my legs.
* * * * *
Getting dressed and ready to go into the office took a bit longer than we thought between all the s*x that we had in the shower. It seemed, after their transformation, an insatiable desire hit us all. We were all ravenous for each other, we couldn’t get enough.
I did notice that a few times, Ian’s hand would fall onto Damien’s chest or Aiden’s leg and the way his hand would grab and caress their skin. I think he could feel the mate-bond with them like how Aiden and Damien do for each other. I could tell his mind was preoccupied on other things, so I don’t know if he really paid much attention to it at the time, but I planned to ask him about it and find out more soon, but in the shower was not the right time. I smiled, thinking that maybe one day, they could be enjoying each other just as I enjoy all of them.
We finally arrived at the office with a few minutes to spare before we were meeting everyone in the conference room. Most of the plan had already been set in motion but we wanted to make sure that we weren’t missing anything. We walked in and, after saying hello to Arlene, made our way to the conference room.
The room was already busy with chatter that died down as we entered and took a seat. Ian went and took a seat next to Keegan and Lucas; I recognized the other men from the elite group, but I couldn’t remember their names. We sat down and everyone remained silent, waiting for someone to speak. Damien finally broke the silence.
“Silver Creek is planning on attacking tomorrow morning at sunrise. To our knowledge, they still believe they will have the element of surprise. Keegan, where are we at with Kable and our warriors?”
“Kable said that he and his men will fight with us, they will be ready to meet our warriors tonight. They will hold their side between our territories and then, if Silver Creek advances, they will come in from behind, same as our warriors that will be waiting on the other side. If Silver Creek advances far enough into our territory, we will then be able to completely surround them.”
“Excellent,” Damien replied, “have the warriors relocate any family within 5 miles from the border to a safe house before tonight and make sure every warrior is in their position by midnight, I don’t want them being spotted if Silver Creek comes before dawn.”
“Understood Alpha.” Keegan replied quickly before adding, “If they do, we’ll make sure they don’t live long enough to see the sun rise.”
I could see Lucas and several others all nodding in agreement, they all acted like they were looking forward to this fight. I had to remind myself that this is what they do. This is what they are known for. They are all deadly and superiorly trained fighters.
“I am hoping that it won’t come to that.” I said, glancing at Keegan, “If Ronan accepts my challenge, I am hoping to once again prevent any sort of fighting.”
They knew this was coming but I could still feel Damien and Aiden stiffen beside me at the mention.
“With all due respect, Luna Camille,” one of the warriors, whose name I couldn’t remember, said with a bow. “I would rather not put your life at risk. Let me and my men take care of Ronan and his pack. We can handle them.”
“I appreciate your concern, . . . . .”
“Cameron” he replied.
“I appreciate your concern, Cameron, but this is why I am here.” I offered him a small smile, “If I can take down Ronan, then I can control Silver Creek.”
“What will you do with Silver Creek after Ronan is gone?” This time the question came from another warrior I also didn’t know.
“I will figure that out when the time comes.” I know it wasn’t the most reassuring answer, but it was the truth and the only answer I had.
The next two hours I didn’t say much. I let Damien and Aiden talk more specifics with the warriors as they looked over maps and made plans. As I sat there, I couldn’t ignore the feeling that I had. I knew challenging Ronan was what I needed to do but there was something inside me telling me that something was wrong.
