Fallen Leaf

1890 Words
Damien “Good morning princess, it’s time to wake up.” Aiden calls as he rubs his hand over her cheeks, making her stir. Her protest came in the form of a slight groan. We didn’t get much sleep last night and I’m sure her body was still a little exhausted from last night’s activities. I never would have imagined putting myself between Aiden’s legs and pleasuring him sexually; hell, I never thought a lot of things, but Cam was right. Touching Aiden brings the same feeling as when I touch her, we all belong to each other, and it all feels. . . . . . amazing. I can’t lie, I was worried that first time when she asked me to taste them, but then having Aiden pleasure me while I got to taste her sweet little p***y on my tongue at the same time was indescribable. Seeing her body heat up and the look in her eyes when she saw us together was a massive turn on. I trust Aiden completely with my mate and with my own body and things have never felt weird between us afterward, but I still don’t know how Ian would feel about all of this and that makes me nervous. “Alpha Marcellus has invited us to breakfast with him before we leave.” Aiden’s voice cuts in, taking me out of my thoughts. Cam reluctantly got herself out of bed and, after a quick shower, got herself dressed. I saw her shove her shredded bra and panties into her bag, causing me to raise a brow at her. “I just didn’t want whoever comes in to clean to have to find them in the trash.” “You know ripped clothing is pretty common among wolves?” I said with a smile. “True, but I’m pretty sure anyone can guess that we weren’t shifting in here last night." "s*x is even more common, it’s nothing to be ashamed of" I couldn’t help but laugh at how cute she is. We made our way down to breakfast with the young Alpha and shortly after, we were back on the road heading to Fallen Leaf pack. Even though this was my first experience with Alpha Marcellus, I did have a lot of respect for the kid. It was clear that his life had been a living hell from a young age and seeing how much he cares for his pack and how they all care for him is very telling. They respect him. It would have been easy for him to turn into an Alpha like his father. “I can’t imagine having to witness your mate being killed by your father. Poor guy.” Aiden said shortly after we left their pack, also thinking about the kid’s situation. “He’ll have another mate,” Camille said, very matter of fact as she stared out the window. I turned around to look at her, “What do you mean that he’ll have another mate?” “When I asked him if he wanted the Moon Goddess to remove the scar from his face, it was a test. If he chose to remove the scar, his life would have remained the same. By keeping the scar, he will be a better man and alpha for it, and so she has granted him a second chance mate.” “Why the scar?” Aiden asks. “History forgotten tends to repeat itself and that scar serves as his reminder.” “Huh”. Well, I was glad to hear that Alpha Marcellus would have a second chance mate. The kid deserved to be happy. Having Camille in my life, I can’t imagine not having her by my side. I can understand how some men go crazy after losing their mate though. I took a moment to stare at her and appreciate just how amazing she was. I don’t know how I got so lucky in having a mate like her. I noticed her eyes changing, like she was mind-linking someone. I’m sure, Ian, I know she misses him. It’s only been just over a day but the thought of being away from Camille makes me understand how she feels. I’m sure Ian is pissed that I made him stay home, he could have broken every bone in his body, and he would still be just as ruthless in a fight, especially if it meant protecting Camille. And that’s why I couldn’t let him come. Despite what he thinks my intentions are, I had no clue what in the hell we would find walking into these other packs, and I couldn’t stand to see Ian hurt himself worse. So far, we have been lucky with Alpha Leo and Alpha Marcellus. Alpha Felix was a bit trickier. I heard that he was a man who, like Aiden, was very good at negotiation. I wasn’t exactly sure how well our proposal would go over, but after some deep digging it seemed that a few high dollar investments of his had turned sour. We had the intel and the means to offer him a high percentage in a new high-end corporation. It would be a win-win for both of us. Among other things that we were willing to offer and open trade with, I was hopeful that we could count on Fallen Leaf as an Ally. One of the biggest bargaining chips that we had was our elite warriors. My training at Blood Lust and now having formed Blood Moon, we are famous for our training. We trained some of the fiercest and deadliest warriors known and that was something other packs envied. Offering to teach their pack our ways was a bargaining chip that we didn’t use often. We pulled into Fallen Leaf territory and made our way up to Alpha Felix’s office. I could sense that tension was high, it was clear our visit wasn’t exactly welcome. We didn’t need a welcome wagon, just to come to an agreement. We stepped out and helped Camille out of the car. She didn’t sleep much, and I could sense that she was still a little tired. I put her under my arm between Aiden and me. We look up ahead to see Alpha Felix along with his Beta and a few other pack members coming out to meet us. I felt Camille stiffen between us as we took a few steps forward to greet Alpha Felix. I went to extend my hand to introduce myself when suddenly my heart stopped in my chest. “Alpha Felix, I, Luna Camille, of Blood Moon pack challenge you for the title of Alpha of Fallen Leaf.” We all froze, the expression on Alpha Felix’s face went from a slight smile to one of absolute disgust. My grip on Camille tightened and I could feel Aiden stiffen as he slowly pushed Camille behind us, putting us between her and Alpha Felix. “What is this?!” Alpha Felix yelled out “I allow you onto my packs territory to discuss a possible partnership between Fallen Leaf and Blood Moon and you dare to challenge my position and birth right as Alpha! IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE?!” I can see his eyes flicker, his wolf coming forward, he is beyond furious. Aiden and I slowly step back with Camille, unsure what to say as we were just as blindsided by Camille’s challenge. “I OFFER MY HAND IN PEACE AND INSTEAD YOU THINK YOU CAN CHALLENGE ME!” He yelled, now walking towards us the more we moved back. I turned and whispered to Cam so Alpha Felix couldn’t hear, “What are you doing?!” “Keeping us alive” She whispers back before she steps forward between us, now standing only a few feet away from the now crazed Alpha. “I can and I just did. I challenge you for your title, right here, right now. Alpha Felix, do you accept?” I swear I saw his jaw drop at her forwardness before he remembered himself. He stared at Cam for several minutes. You could see his mind turning, thinking but coming to the decision that he doesn’t really have a choice. To refuse a challenge is to handover your position and pack willingly. Any Alpha would rather die than give up their position. “I Alpha Felix of Fallen Leaf accept your challenge for the title of Alpha.” He said through a tight jaw, “you want a fight, fine. Follow me.” We all start to follow him to a clearing near his office, Aiden, and I are still in shock. I lean down towards her ear, “Baby girl, what is going on? Are you sure?” “I’m sure I need to do this” she whispered back. Alpha Felix turned around, taking off his shirt, he called out, “Come on Luna, I don’t have all day.” Camille made her way closer to him in the middle of the clearing, watching her, a sudden realization hit me, Ian wasn’t here. I quickly mind-linked Aiden. ‘Without Ian, she has no guard. Do you think he would let one of us stand in?’ ‘It’s doubtful, but it’s worth a try. Let me go, he might be more willing to let me stand in.’ Without another word, Aiden made his way up to our mate. I know most think of me as the ruthless killer; my packs reputation proceeds me, thanks to my father. Fighting is what we are known for, what we were bred for. Me being the son of an Alpha, Ian was the only one from my pack who could match me in strength and skill, and the fact that Ian and I are the size that we are is intimidating to say the least. Most people assume that Aiden and I are both acting Alphas because he’s the brains and I’m the muscle. It lets people underestimate him, which we can use to our advantage. Truth is, he could probably even kick my ass some days. He grew up training in my pack with me and my father. He is just as deadly as Ian and me, but because he is slimmer in size, most assume he isn’t as strong as a fighter as me. “I will stand in as her guard” Aiden says, standing next to Camille. Alpha Felix looks Aiden up and down, considering if he should allow it. “No,” he finally said. “She is entitled to a guard to ensure a fair fight.” Aiden said, trying to reason. “That she is, and if that was the case, she should have brought her Beta, and yet, I don’t see him here. You all come onto my land and your Luna challenges me for my title, disrespecting me and my pack and you think I’m going to let her Alpha mate stand in so he can jump in and save her before I rip out her throat?” He smirks at Aiden, “She will have no guard. Now go stand next to your other, but make sure to get a good view so that way you can see the moment I kill your b***h mate.”
