I laid there anxiously next to Ian, waiting for Dr. Williams to come in and give us the latest update on Ian’s blood work. “Good morning Alpha’s, Luna. I have good news. His blood work today is essentially back to normal. His scans yesterday looked remarkable. I’m going to take another look at his incisions and if they are all completely closed, I plan on turning off the sedative and letting him wake up.” I couldn’t get off the bed and out of Dr. William’s way fast enough. He removed the bandages and, thankfully, all of his major incisions were closed and had started healing.
