I woke up hungry and still tired despite a full night’s sleep. After dinner last night, I then marked four more packs before Damien called it. I leaned back into the warm chest that wrapped around my back, Aiden leaned down and kissed my cheek, seeing that I was finally awake.
“Good morning princess. How are you feeling?”
“Still tired but mostly just hungry.” I shifted onto my back, resting my head on his arm, so that I could look up at him. “What time is it?”
“It’s just a little past 9. Damien and Ian are with the packs keeping them occupied. We wanted you to have as much sleep as you needed.”
“Thank you,” I really was so grateful for the extra sleep. After everything yesterday, my body needed it.
