Ian

I open my eyes and it takes me about a second before panic sets in as I remember the events that happened last night. As I do my heart starts to hurt, reminding me of the pain I felt knowing that I would never have my own mate, that my mate was the Moon Goddess. A blessing and a curse as she was here inside the mate of my Alpha’s who I’ve sworn my life to. So close but just out of reach.

I take in my surroundings, forcing myself to wake up and I freeze when I realize that my hand is on Camille’s bare stomach and my head is on her chest. I close my eyes and I’m relaxed as I feel her slow breaths as her chest rises and falls under the weight of my head. I can feel my body tingle as every nerve fiber of my being feels alive touching her.

I look over and see my Alpha’s sound asleep next to her, her mates. I didn’t want to know what punishment they had in store for me. I was honestly surprised they didn’t murder me in my sleep. As much as I didn’t want to move, I slowly made my way off of the bed and downstairs for some coffee. I needed to think. Surly they wouldn’t exile me from the pack?

It wasn’t long before Aiden came down the stairs helping himself to a cup of coffee. I wasn’t sure what to say.

“Please forgive me Alpha” was all I could do as I lowered my head, ashamed of my actions.

“Ian come sit down”

“I understand if you guys want me gone, I will get everything moved out before the afternoon and I can have some of the top warriors here around the clock or even .." I didn’t get to finish my rambling before Aiden stopped me

“We don’t want you to leave Ian.” Aiden said with a sigh. “Look, we need to talk about all of this but before I say anything we need to first talk with Camille.”

I simply nodded and focused back on my coffee. After about 15 minutes Aiden got back up.

“She’s awake; just promise me that you will wait here?”

“Yes, of course” after he went back upstairs, I head over and pour myself another cup of coffee.

Camille

I opened my eyes and I saw Damien still sleeping next to me, and Aiden on my other side, caressing my cheek. No Ian.

“Good morning my Luna” he said as leaned down for a kiss.

I could tell by the look on his face he had a lot of things on his mind. After everything I put them through yesterday, I was amazed he was still being so sweet to me. I sat up and pulled him into me, needing to feel him again. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me tightly against his chest deepening the kiss. I could hear him moan against my mouth before he pulled away.

“As much as I would love to princess, we have some things we need to discuss first.”

He then picks up a pillow off the bed and throws it at Damien’s head making me laugh at the childish gesture.

“Wake up” he yells at Damien who groans and then slowly opens his eyes.

Several minutes later Aiden and Damien take me over to the sitting area in the bedroom. Aiden picks me up and places me sideways on his lap so that I’m leaning into his chest as Damien takes my legs over his lap and massages my legs. Neither one of them speak for a minute.

“Baby girl, how do you feel about Ian?” Damien finally asks in a soft voice

Oh crap. How am I supposed to answer that? Do I tell them? I don’t want them to think I don’t care about them. I can feel my breathing picking up as I start to panic.

“I can feel that you’re getting nervous, you don’t need to be. We’re not trying to trick you; we just need you to be honest with us. You’re not going to hurt our feelings.”

Trusting that Damien was telling the truth, I took several deep breaths and slowly opened my mouth and found the courage to talk.

“Everything feels complete with Ian here” I finally admit, “It wasn’t an instant connect like what I felt with the both of you, but I could feel something when I first met him. Over time, it grew. I could feel that there was a part of me calling out to him, but I didn’t understand it and I love you both so much and I would never do anything to hurt either of you. I am so lucky to have you both.” I couldn’t help the tears that rolled down my cheeks.

“Shhhh its ok princess, we know, you’re ok.” Aiden’s words soothed me a bit and I was able to calm myself back down. I pushed myself closer against his chest for comfort, breathing him in.

“I don’t know what to do, I didn’t want to say anything because I didn’t want you guys to think that I wasn’t happy with you, because I am! You both make me so happy!”

“I know princess, thank you for telling us. After everything Damien and I talked last night, and we are willing to try something.”

“But ultimately it’s your decision.” Damien quickly added on

‘Ian can you please come back up here?’ Damien asked him through the link

A few moments later, Ian very cautiously opened the door to the three of us standing in the middle of the room. Slowly he made his way in.

Keeping his head down, he began to apologize, “Alpha Damien, Luna, please forgive my behavior las. . . “

“Since when do you ‘Alpha Damien’ me?” Damien interrupted with a smile, lightening the mood and easing some of the worry off of Ian’s face.

“Ian you are one of the greatest warriors and friends that I have ever known, and I know you to be a true man of your word. I know that you will do everything to protect our mate until your last breath, but I need you to swear to the both of us that you will be even more cautious in protecting her heart for so help me, if you break it, I will rip yours out of your chest where you stand.”

Ian looked at Damien with a confused look on his face, “I don’t,. . . I don’t understand”.

I take a deep breath and walk up to Ian; looking up into his big brown eyes I can see the pain and the worry behind them. I reach up and place my hand on Ian’s cheek and gently pull his head down placing a kiss onto his lips. I can feel his body trembling, uncertain of how to respond.

“She feels it too Ian, she was hiding it just like you were.” Damien stated

“Damien and I would never forgive ourselves if we kept you from your mate; even if that means having to share ours.” Aiden added on

Ian looked up at Aiden and over at Damien seeking confirmation of what he was hearing before looking back down at me, “You feel it too?” he asks as he trails his fingers over my cheek and down my neck to my collarbone making my body shiver.

“Yes” I rasp out, “I feel it.”

Without thinking any further, Ian crashes his lips back down onto mine, this time there is no hesitation as he greedily takes my mouth, letting his hands explore over my backside.

I pause and break away from the kiss to look up at Ian, “I think after all the excitement yesterday and last night, I could still really use a shower. Will you join us?”

Ian looks back up at my mates before deciding, “Is that ok?”

“Yes, it’s ok” Aiden responded.

“Then I would love too” he said before leaning down to kiss me again.
