Aiden
“How about we let our wolves out and let them go for a run before we train this morning?”
“I love that idea!” Camille said, already bouncing up and down at the thought.
“It would be nice to see your wolf not completely caked in mud.” Damien laughed.
We chased an overly excited Camille out into the backyard. She tore her clothes over her head, earning a growl from Damien and myself.
“There’s no one around!” she called back after us.
“Better damn well not be!” Damien huffed under his breath.
We both dropped our clothes, shifting before they had a chance to fully fall to the ground. Our mate was soon to follow suit.
“Whoa, princess. . . . ” Damien and I went up and circled our mate, “Has your wolf always been this size?” She almost matched us in height, just shy by a few inches.
“Yeah, it scared me a bit when I first shifted; I stood even taller than my sister. It took me several shifts to become accustomed to the pain of shifting into such a large form from my small frame.”
I couldn’t help but nuzzle her neck at the thought of her going through so much pain.
“Has your wolf always been pure white?” Damien asked.
“Yeah. My sister and father were pure black like you, or any other Alpha, but I’ve never seen another white wolf like me before.”
“Neither have we. They are very rare. I’ve only ever heard stories.”
“Uhhh, baby girl, how is your tattoo on the back of your wolf?!”
“What?!” Camille exclaimed as she tried to see onto her back, running herself in circles.
“I have never seen anything like that before!” In the same light purple-ish color was the crescent moon and wolf tattoo imprinted in her beautiful white coat between her wolfs shoulder blades.
“That’s impossible . . . . “
“I’m starting to think that nothing is impossible when it comes to our mate!”
“Anyways, we had better get running” Damien said before taking off for the woods, our mate and myself hot on his heels.
“This is incredible! I don’t know how to explain this to you guys, but my wolf feels stronger, more powerful than I’ve ever known her to feel before! I know I can run faster.” With that, her wolf suddenly took off, bursting ahead, Damien and I pushing ourselves to stay with her. She was running so fast that she almost became a blur.
“How is she out running us?” Damien said now, only to me,
“I don’t know, but when has our mate been anything except extraordinary? This all must be what Ezra meant when he said she was gifted by the Moon Goddess.”
“Right, but it’s the reason behind all these ‘gifts’ that has me worried. What is the Moon Goddess preparing her for?”
Oh s**t! I wasn’t paying attention, “Princess, you have to slow down, we’re almost near the border!” the river up ahead separated the Blood Moon territory from the Black Water territory.
Alpha Stephen was a cruel and power-hungry Alpha who ruled by fear, but he wasn’t a complete fool. He knew his warriors would never stand a chance against our elite. And while we maintained a peaceful border, there were no trade negotiations or dealings with his pack. Damien and I would never allow it.
My heart skipped several beats as I saw our mate suddenly disappear off the edge of the cliff. Damien and I came skidding to a halt as we saw our mate flying across the river and landing several stories down below on the other side.
“Holy Goddess did you guys see that?! That was incredible.”
We quickly made our way down the side of the cliff and to the river’s edge.
“Are you ok baby girl! Are you hurt?” We quickly swam through the river and got to her side and began assessing for any injuries.
“No, I actually feel great! I swear” She nuzzled each of our necks and jumped up and down on her legs to show us she wasn’t hurt anywhere.
“I have half a mind to bend you over my knee and smack your ass when we get back for scarring me so bad!” Damien growled.
Camille and I both laughed, “We better get back, princess, this isn’t our territory anymore.”
We all took off across the river and made our way back home.

Pulling up at our office, I could feel that she was excited and slightly nervous to start planning her Luna Ceremony.
I took her hand and walked her through the doors.
“Good morning, Alpha Aiden!” Arlene’s bubbly voice echoed throughout the lobby, and she bowed her head towards me.
“And it’s such a pleasure to see you again, Luna Camille!” She smiled while also bowing for my mate.
“It’s so nice to see you again Arlene! How are you?”
“I am well Luna, thank you! What brings you in today?”
“I am told I have a meeting with the pack event coordinator.” My mate said with a smile.
“Ah Lisa, she is fantastic! Absolutely wonderful, you will love her! Well, I won’t keep you waiting any longer. Alpha, Luna, please let me know if I can be of any assistance.”
“We will, thank you Arlene.” Wrapping my arm around my mate’s waist, I guided her over to the elevator.
“I know you and Damien’s office is on the top floor, but what are on the other floors?”
Goddess she is gorgeous when she smiles at me like that. “Well, our Beta’s have their offices on the fourth floor, Delta Lucas has an office on the third floor along with a few of the elected Omega’s, and the second floor is the kitchen and conference rooms.”
“Elected Omega’s? I have never heard of a pack having such a thing?”
“It certainly is different. We have an elected Omega who oversees all of the schools and ensures every school has what it requires and is teaching at a similar level. One who is in charge of housing and business rentals, and an event coordinator who helps facilitate any large events within the pack. All three share a floor with Lucas, making it easier to coordinate additional patrols and security for any and all functions that take place.”
Looking down, I saw that she was staring up at me with such love in her eyes and the most beautiful smile on her face. She didn’t say anything for several seconds before finally coming up on her tippy toes to place a kiss on my neck. “You are incredible you know that.”
My heart swelled with love for my mate. I wanted to pick her up in my arms and hold her against me, but the elevator dinged and opened up onto the third floor.
We made our way in, stopping to chat with Lucas for a few minutes before introducing her to Lisa.
“When you are all finished, princess, come back up to me in my office. I figured we would start a different kind of training.”
Kissing her on the forehead, I quickly made my exit before having to hear about different shades of beige napkins or some other form of torture to my ears.
Settling into my desk, I began to organize the folders and the paperwork that had started to pile up. It was quite as Damien was out making rounds at all the training centers and checking in on the new recruits. He wanted to watch a few of the training sessions to see how each group was progressing. He planned on taking Camille with him to the Elite training tonight so that she could see what it was like.
After seeing how fast and powerful her wolf was this morning, Damien and I had talked and agreed that we would allow her to train with our Beta’s; but with them only. I couldn’t stand the thought of any other man having their hands all over her body, even for training purposes, but I knew that I could trust Ian and Keegan to train her well. Hell, they might be the only other ones able to handle her.
A few hours later and Camille makes her way into my office, “Thank the Goddess you have Lisa to help plan all this out! I don’t know how one person could handle all of this!” She makes her way around my desk and happily crawls onto my lap and into my welcoming arms.
“Do you know how many different shades of red there are?! Like one hundred and thirty something, I swear!”
I could not contain my laughter looking at her sweet, perplexed face, “It’s insane!” she continued.
“Lisa has been doing this for a long time. I am sure she will help plan the best and grandest Luna Ceremony that anyone in this pack has ever seen.”
“It will definitely be grand, that’s for sure! Everything she showed me and talked about was so elaborate and I’m sure way too expensive. You should talk to her.”
“Why? Unless there is something you’re uncomfortable with princess, Damien and I have more money than we know what to do with. You could have a grand ceremony every day and still not spend it fast enough.”
I thought her big brown eyes were going to pop out of her head. “You don’t ever have to worry about money ever again, princess. Now, let’s get back to work. What do you know about battle strategies?”
We spent the next three hours going over land maps and discussing various offensive and defensive strategies; pausing for a quick lunch break when Arlene brought us up some sandwiches. She was surprisingly well versed at reading a battlefield and the layout of the land while making smart adjustments. I’m sure having her father to thank for a lot of her knowledge and skill.

“You there! You’re the one who saw the white wolf?
“Yes Alpha” said the young wolf, trying to hide his fear, his trembling body betraying him.
“Yesss, you are right to be afraid of me boy. Now tell me everything you saw, or I will rip your throat out where you stand.”
“I was out patrolling the eastern border when I saw this large solid white wolf jump over the river onto our land. It was massive. It was with two solid black wolves about the same size.”
“Those ignorant little Alphas’ think they can just cross into our lands! Now tell me, did you see anything else?”
The young wolf nodded.
“Well, spit it out! Or so help me I will . .”
“It had a tattoo! Please Alpha, the white wolf had a tattoo on its back.”
“The wolf did? A tattoo? Are you sure?”
“Yes Alpha”
“What did this tattoo look like?”
“It was in the shape of a crescent moon, I think.”
“Lucian, gather your men. Meet me in my office in 10!”
