I repaired what I could, but the damage was extensive. I mass transfused him with as much blood as we had since his body was nearly depleted when you brought him in.” Aiden’s arms around my waist were the only thing preventing me from collapsing down onto the floor. “I’m continuing to give him more blood and fluids along with several strong medications. I have antibiotics running to try to help prevent any kind of infection since his abdomen and organs were exposed for so long. At this point, I am afraid that I have done everything that I can. I’m not even sure how he’s still holding on, to be honest.” Dam
