COMING CLEAN

"Ma I want to withdraw some money from my father's savings," Aastha said to her mom straightforwardly but when her mom heard this she doesn't know what to say to her daughter who was waiting for her reply patiently.

"Why?" Sunita asked her daughter cause she needs to know the reasons before she agrees with her daughter.

Aastha hesitated to answer her mother cause she didn't know whether her mom will believe her or not.

Sunita saw that and understood that her daughter was contemplating and hesitating to answer her so she decides to give her a small push.

Sunita holds her daughter's hands, look straight into her eyes and told her thoughts sweetly smiling "Sweety you could share your thoughts with me and if you are reasonable I would help you but if you are unreasonable too I could give you my guide and some suggestion per need so please don't hesitate to share your problems with me ok."

After hearing her mother, Aastha's eyes filled with tears but contrary to that a beautiful smile blooms on her face making her face beautiful "Ma I want to start my own business and need at least five hundred thousand. I know I am young and immature but I want to give it a try so could you help me to withdraw some money from my father's savings."

Aastha was nervous but when she sees her mother's small smile she was somehow relieved that her mother was considering her plans.

''I didn't know my daughter was grown enough to start thinking about her future huh '' when Aastha hear her mother's playful answer she was surprised.

''Ma I am serious about my plan'' Astha said to her mother sulking cause she thought her mother wasn't taking her seriously.

"I know sweety I was just teasing you and don't worry about money we may have a middle-class family lifestyle but your mother and father have saved money so you can live blissfully forever it's just we didn't want you to be spoiled and all," her mother said to her.

"But tell me where did you get such an idea to start your business huh cause I know you may me book talent but you sure aren't talented enough to think about starting your own business" when she heard her mother question she doesn't know how to answer it so she tries to tell a lie.

"If I tell you I have thought about it myself would you believe me'' answer her mom sheepishly?

"If you tell me like this it is hard to believe you, so sweety just who gave you this idea cause idea may be good but just don't believe anybody. People take advantage of other hearts and trust they had in them, so sweety, tell your Ma just who give you this idea I will meet this person and TALK with them FRIENDLY'' Aastha wanted to continue her lie but when she hears how her mom want to TALK, she knew how FRIENDLY will her mom act with this so-called bad person she gives up on telling her mom any further lies and just focus on how to tell her truth about her DREAM.

So she took a deep breath and said " Ma the thing is ......

"Ma I had a weird dream a few days ago," Aastha said while looking at her mother.

"And'' Sunita encourages her daughter to say more.

"And I got this business plan from that dream" after listening to her daughter Sunita thought 'did I give birth to an i***t' to herself and look at her daughter as if she is looking like an i***t.

Sunita is losing her patience but she still tenderly conveyed her thoughts to Aastha "my dear can you explain to me thoroughly rather than breaking each sentence as if you are afraid that I don't believe huh. Please rest assured how absurd your idea and dream maybe I can listen to you and give you suggestions ok so explain to me everything."

After hearing her mother's encouraging words, Aastha was rest assured, she mustered up her courage and started to tell her mother everything.

"The thing is like this, Ma a few days back I had a weird dream in that dream I lost myself in my own greed and ambitions that I failed to make you happy and failed your teaching. I.....'' Aastha started crying as she remembered how she failed her mother and how wrong she was.

Sunita was startled by Aastha's sudden burst but she still encourages her daughter to tell her everything she saw in her dream.

" Ma all I did in my dream was hurt others and most of all I hurt you and myself. My selfishness not only cause you to have a heart attack but was the cause of your untimely death which only cause me to hate myself. It was as if I was possed by a demon and my only goal was to rule this world even it means to kill, murder or have someone r***d, Ma I was a demon not ordinary but a bloodsucking demon whose only pleasure was to hurt others and have my humanity crushed by my own actions."

This time Aastha was a sobbing mess she was clinging to her mother as if she was her only salvation and it was true her mother was only her ray of hope and all she wanted in her life was to make her mother happy but she failed to do so and was corrupted by her peers.

When she lost her mother in her dream she was only a living shell cause she lost her spirit and soul to do things but her peers said her mother died cause she was poor and she wasn't powerful enough to protect her beloved ones which cause her to hate this world and have revenge but with whom did she have a grudge and with whom should she have her revenge she didn't think. She just wanted to get revenge which causes her downfall.

When Aastha was sobbing as if her entire world was crushed her mother was helpless and don't know how to respond to her daughter's outburst. She could only hold her daughter and say " sweety it was just a dream and see I am right here in front of you and I am healthy and if by any chance you follow any wrong path I, your mother will break your leg and bring you to correct path so don't worry about your weird dream which is giving you so much pain".

Aastha pushes her mother slightly and said ''no Ma it was not only just that I was fed to wolf alive by cutting both of my hands and feet and if it was just a dream then how ... how ..... did I ...." when she thought of Aayushma she can't just think it was just a dream.

''How did I what sweety" when Aastha was thinking Sunitha's question make Aastha hesitate to answer and she can't just tell her about Aayushma cause she knows her mother will be worried and will only think about her problem so she decides to lie to her mother.

" It was nothing. It's just that I don't want to repeat that nightmare even if it wasn't real I want to move forward and learn from it " Aastha said to her mother while smiling slightly with red eyes as if she had found answers to her questions.

"Sweety mom is proud of you cause not only are you trying to be optimistic but also cause you to find answers to your questions and don't worry mom won't let you go astray. you should focus on building your career ok" saying this Sunitha hug her and give her a pat on her back.
