Accident

Just thinking about what just happened, Aastha was mortified.

She shouldn't have behaved like that but in a moment of impulsiveness, she pinched him! She pinched Aarzan Singh Rana who was deemed as a prince of the country.

" Argh! why do I have to behave like that! I would have just ignored him. I just hope he doesn't get irritated and easy with me!" Aastha cursed herself for her bad temper.

Thank god! tomorrow is the weekend, she has already decided that she won't leave home for the entire weekend.

She better stays home, avoid any further interaction and accidents with everybody.

She just wish to stay away from them and enjoy her life but why did god can't let her achieve her dream!

The following day, she plans to study the projects and formulate a detailed idea.

She wakes up late at noon as it was the weekend.

She washes her face, brushes her teeth, and directly goes to the kitchen in her pyjamas.

" Did you stay up late again?" Sunita asked her looking worried.

Aastha sits at the dining table rubbing her eyes before saying " I was reading a project but I haven't finished it yet, so was planning to read it this afternoon."

When she looks At Sunita, she notices Sunita preparing brunch for her.

As it was late to eat breakfast and a little early to have lunch.

Sunita put food on the table, rubs Aastha's head affectionately " It's good to work hard but you should be careful of your health too."

Hearing her mother's affectioned and worry laced words, she could only nod her head with moist eyes.

Aastha really misses this, her mother's love and scolding is the most treasured feeling for her.

She hugs Sunita, said quietly but firmly " Ma you have to be just like this every day, you have to praise me when I make you proud, and scold me when I do some unethical ok."

When Sunita hear Aastha, she couldn't help but worry, so she pats Aastha's back slowly and smoothly.

" If you ever do any unethical or immoral things, I will be the first to break your legs, likewise if you make me proud then I will wholeheartedly praise you but I will never leave you alone," Sunita reassure her daughter in a soothing voice.

Hearing her mother's word, Aastha smiles brightly and hugs her tightly before letting go.

Sunita smiles back at Aastha then said, " Now, stop being melodramatic and eat your food, I have to go shopping. "

" What are you shopping for? should I go with you?" Aastha offers her help then looks at Sunita waiting for her answer.

Sunita shakes her head " I am just going to buy some groceries, you don't have to come, and you have to finish reading the project works too."

" I will help you, I can read the project later at night, let's go" Aastha insist.

Sunita indeed felt touch but didn't allow it.

"Nope, I don't need your help, you should stay home, I will come in an hour or two. I don't want to see your panda eye tomorrow morning too, so you better finish your work before I come. Now you go shoo," motioning her hand Sunita chased Aastha away.

Aastha reluctantly goes to her room sending Sunita to the door.

It has been 3 hours since Sunita left home to buy groceries but she hadn't come home yet.

Aastha began to worry, she takes her phone from the desk, and make a call but it couldn't go through.

" The number you've dialled is unreachable, please dial again later," she continuously hears her customer care service say.

Being fed up with a mechanical answer, she throws her phone on the bed.

Just as it landed on the bed, she hears her phone ring.

She hurriedly looks at the caller's name hoping for her mother's reply instead it was an unknown number.

Seeing an unknown number her 1ST reaction was to cut and let her phone down at the side of the table where she was working. She doesn't like to answer those unknown numbers as they would be mostly from sales persons.

But after some time it rings again and the caller was the same unknown number.

She was just about to reject the call, she thought maybe Sunita is calling so she resultantly picks it up.

" Hello, is it Aastha Acharya?" Aastha instantly knows the caller.

" How did you get my number huh? Didn't I already tell you, not to associates yourself with me! Are you playing the stalker role or what?" Aastha coldly reprimands Aayushma.

" I was Ju..." Aayushma tries to answer however she was cut off by Aastha harshly.

" Are you trying to pester me, just cause I don't want to be your friend? Did I hurt your ego?" Aastha angrily continues " You may have time for this little game of yours but I don't! so could you stop being this petty and....."

This time Aayushma cut off her angrily.

" Can you just shut up for a moment! yes, I want to be your friend but I am not that rude to bother you continuously ok," Aayushma rebukes her harshly.

" Listen carefully your mom had a small accident near the shopping area, I have taken her to the hospital " hearing Aayushma, Aastha couldn't help but worry.

" How's my mom. Is she ok? and in which hospital?" Aastha hurriedly asked as she changes clothes, rushes towards the front door, and locked it.

" I will send you the address but no need to worry, she is fine, take your time I am here " Aayushma's assurance put Aastha's heart to ease.

" Please take care of my mum, I will be there in a minute," Aastha said that and hangs up the call then checks her message.

She reads the address and drives away in her scooty.
