Everyone went silent for while
Hailey finally broke the silent by saying” Jaxon, how are you doing, Is Karen your mum?”
Jaxon rush to hug him “ Oh No!! I can’t believe I’m seeing you right now.” He happily said
Ava was already angry, she hissed and angrily left the sitting room
Jack was surprised and hesitate to speak “ Jaxon where do you know Hailey? He asked
Jaxon was stammering and finally said,” oh she was a sister to my friend in high school, she’s really good to us back then and I’d never imagine she’s someone close to my family.”
Hailey was happy with the respond and look straight into Jack eyes “ I never imagine the little boy in the picture was this grown and handsome.” She said jokingly
They all laughed
Hazel feel left out and breaks in their conversation by saying.” My name is hazel, I am the last born of this family I’d like us to get along more than Jaxon.” She said smiling
Jack chuckled and says.” Oh are you jealous of your brother now?”
Hailey walk closer to Hazel and patch her on her shoulder “ don’t worry baby girl, we are now best friends and i Promise to never allow a boy take your place in my heart.” She jokingly said
Hazel was happy, she hugged her and laugh at his brother saying.” Now she’s my friend and I don’t want to see anyone close to her.”
Everyone laugh.
Jaxon took in his luggage’s and hazel went in the room to meet Ava.
(Ava room)
Ava was sitting on the couch beside the bed holding a notebook with a pen.
Hazel came in.
Ava: why are you here? She asked angrily
Hazel looked disappointed.
She jumped on the bed and asked.
“ was this not suppose to be our room?” She replied
Ava: why don’t you follow me when I left the sitting room?
Hazel: what? Do you expect me to walk out of daddy in the presence of a visitor?
Ava: it’s good if you can’t walk out but why are you making friends with her already?
Hazel: she’s a nice woman, barely knowing her I can see she’s a very generous woman.
Ava looked very disappointed
Ava: even if she was not nice, do you expect her to show her bad side so quick?
Hazel: don’t say that, more so Jaxon knows her from high school and he said she’s a very nice woman.
Ava: okay, you all should continue luring around her until she shows you who she really was.
Hazel: Ava!!! Why are you always like this? Can you just like people as they are?
She said angrily
Ava: I’m never saying I hate her u don’t just like her staying here while mum was away.
Hazel hissed at her and angrily left the room.
( Jaxon room)
Jaxon was standing confusingly by the window staring at his phone.
Jack came in
Jaxon: Dad, what are you doing in my room so unexpected?” He asked in shock
Jack: you are so grown now that I have to put up a notice before I can come to see you in your room?” He asked jokingly
They both smiles and Jack sit on the bed while Jaxon was standing in front of him.
“Where do you know Hailey?” Jack asked
Jaxon was not shocked because he knows that’s what he was there to talk about.
“Dad I told you she was a sister I know from a friend in high school?” Jaxon said assuring
Jack smiled with a relaxed expression.
“Do you have a girlfriend now?” Jack asked
Jaxon was surprised with the question
“ No dad, I don’t have a girlfriend.” He shyly says
“ while I’m at your age I already had 3 exes and 2 current girlfriends.” He jokingly says
They both laughed and continue gisting.
It was early in the morning on a Saturday morning.
Everyone was sitting in the sitting room silently watching movies.
Jack phone rings which breaks the silent.
It was Karen and he answered
Jack: Hello my beautiful wife
Karen on the phone was blushing as he keeps calling her sweet names.
They both exchange greeting and Karen remind him of coming to the hospital with the kids.
Jack: oh my wife, you know I would never forget anything about you right?” He said with an exciting smile
Ava was sitted in one side of the living room smiling at his father.
Jack: we are ready to leave now but we have to wait for a taxi to pick us up.”
Karen: I thought you all are coming with Hailey’s car?
Jack: No!! Hailey has to be at the market to get some stuffs for the family with Jaxon.
Karen: Oh that’s good, but are you saying Jaxon is not coming to see grandma with you guys today?
Jack: yea, he will be there during the week, we can’t just leave Hailey to face the market stress along.
There was a knock at the door,
Hazel walk to the door and it wan the taxi driver
She was very excited, she ran in to inform them of the man arrival.
Jack ended the call with Karen and left with the kids.
Jaxon follows them to the taxi and waited till they went far enough that he couldn’t see their gaze anymore.
