     The river spanned more than ten meters across and Miguel has reached the second deepest point of it years ago at roughly thirty-three feet down. But it only went for just a quarter of a kilometer because at the end of it was a large hole, where the waters disappeared into an underground river and never to resurface again. From the shore where they stood, the waters looked crystal-clear until it turned into a bluish-green hue near the center of the river. Miguel was already standing at the ankle-deep part of the river, waiting for her to be ready. She made him turn around and face the other way as she took of her pants and changed into the red swimming shorts that he bought for her.        “We have to cross to the other side and make our way through those slippery rocks over there.”,
