Helen woke up to the sound of the man’s laughter as he was talking to somebody on the phone. She could not see anything for she was expertly blindfolded. So there was no way for her to know where they were. He also made sure that she could not scream for help by taping her mouth. Plus her hands and legs were bound tightly by small strips of torn fabrics so attempting an escape is out of the question. The feeling of helplessness combined with the claustrophobic sense from being forcefully silenced and blindfolded almost sent her into crying. And she felt her fears heightening when she heard heavy footsteps approaching her.
