The Shadow Dragon
The floating city trembled.
A deafening roar echoed through the clouds as the Shadow Dragon spread its enormous wings.
Each beat of those wings darkened the sky.
Lightning flashed inside the black clouds surrounding the creature.
Its violet eyes burned with cold intelligence.
Upon its back stood the cloaked figure wearing the stolen Crown of Frost.
The ice crown glowed with an unnatural violet light.
"It has already corrupted the crown," Cassiel said grimly.
Seraphine's wings of light unfurled behind her.
"The city must be evacuated."
She turned to the guards.
"Protect the children and the elders!"
The guards bowed and raced away.
Within moments, warning bells echoed throughout the Sky Kingdom.
