The Sun Temple
The sandstorm swallowed the palace.
Golden winds howled through the streets of Sol'Kareth, tearing banners from rooftops and burying the roads beneath waves of sand.
People ran for shelter.
Children clung to their parents.
Within moments, the magnificent city was hidden behind a curtain of swirling gold.
Only the peak of the Sun Temple remained visible.
Its golden dome shone faintly through the storm.
Zahra planted her staff into the ground.
A circle of amber light spread around us, shielding our group from the raging sands.
"This storm is not natural," she said.
"It is the Sand Warden's grief."

"Just as the Forest Queen's sorrow poisoned the forests..."
