The Call

"Beep...beep..beep" who is it. So early in the morning. My head felt heavy.

"beep .. beep" phone is again ringing, I answer the phone without even looking who is it, the head pain making it difficult.

"Hello..." I say in a sleepy voice. There is no response from another side. "hello..." no response. Who is it, someone playing a joke with me?

"HELLO..." I Showed my whole anger in it.

"Hello.. hai... You can't hear me... are you in bed. You didn't even get up ....did you stay up all night." The voice from another side.

oh crap, I know this voice.

I immediately sat up on my bed and check the time on the side table it was 10 o'clock then checked my phone to see who was the person I am speaking to.

Yeah, I am right it's my brother Nicholas.

My heart become to beats fast, last night's incidents came to my mind... if he knew I spend the whole night out he will kill me...

it's all happened because of my i***t cousin..and his coming back celebration idea.

"hello.. are you there why are you not saying anything " my brother gets anxious.

ok, I need to take care of my brother first then I will deal with my cousin.

"hi Nikko... yeah I am doing some class work and stayed up all night, how are you and why are you calling me so early in the morning is not it 2 a.m.in Sydney"

"yeah, I just returned from my meetings and all. Then I receive some news back from our home about the ceremony. So can't wait till morning to tell you it's kinda urgent"

"oh god don't say they already decided a date for the ceremony, did they... I have 2 more months for my graduation"

"yes they decided and the date will be in 2 months"

"what ..without even discussing it with us. Why..., why it's so fast, didn't grandpa say it happens only after my studies"

"Yeah, But we don't know what's that old man thinking," he says sarcastically.

Of course.. we don't know what our grandpa thinks.

"But don't worry I will talk to him". Nick assured me.

"Before that, we need to discuss the issues that we are going to unfold in front of him. You and David have the main role in it. We need to make a perfect plan to deal with the after-effects. So we need to talk with David, where is he, is he in New York."

David Joshua Andrew, my cousin. Yeah, he is back in New York, because of his crazy celebration l am in this condition.

"Yeah, I will talk with David and tell him to contact you. What about you, When are you going back home. Did you decide the date"

"Today"

"What about your meetings and all? Didn't you say it will last 1week"

"It's got cancelled and grandpa wants us back home, Maybe it's because of the ceremony l assume. According to my dad, the dates must be get fixed"

"Grandpa is moving very fast. We need to solve our problems before the date got fixed. l think you can do some help to get it postponed."

"Don't worry your brother is here, after all, we are the feature leaders, So our voice has some power"

"My voice only gets power after this ceremony and you know that," I said to him.

" I don't wish for this power now. But I don't have any option. This is my Destiny. I hope your voice can change their decision" I said to him sadly.

"You can't run away from it, You know that," he said.

"Yeah. I know that very well ..don't worry. I can handle it. "

"So when is your flight," I ask him.

"I am at the airport right now, my flight will be in 30 minutes"

"Ok.. did you sleep "

"Don't worry I will sleep on the flight and you get up from that bed and talk with David and make some plans and come back home, as soon as possible." He is right I need to move fast.

"Also tell him to call me, as soon as possible, he is not even answering my phone calls". l laugh in my mind about how could my crazy cousin take the phone calls, because of his last night's craziness.

"l will tell him to call you, have a nice flight..."

"Thanks, sis...and get up from that bed you lazy girl"

"ok, my nut head bro..bye" then I ended the call.

My brother Nicholas (Nikko), is a businessman and also my sweet protective brother, who always supports this crazy sister.

My name is Rayna Tresa Shane, I am an MBA student at NYU who is graduating in 2 months. My brother is Nicholas Adam John.

One kinda guess is that my brother's and my last names are different because we are COUSINS.
