chapter 17- Unleashed

It's been 2 months. 2 months since we started torturing Christopher, we have kept him alive long enough so we could get an answer but he won't give up. Soon we will have no choice but to kill him. And it's been 2 months since I last saw my mate and I am restless, I can't sleep and I can barely eat anything I have to force myself but most of the time I throw it up. I miss my mate. Who is pregnant and probably worried. Sad thing is the one thing I couldn't wait to experience with her has been the worst experience ever. I couldn't even express my joy of mate being pregnant all I could think is are they alive, is the baby okay, how is Carina, What is my father doing to her. These questions remain unanswered for the last 2 months.

Alessandra is trying to find another way we can find her in her spell books. And Craig, Ayla, and Nicole they are doing just as bad as me but Ayla has lost a ton of weight you can see her ribs, Craig just turned into an anger machine and punches everything and shifts all the time, I am worried about my beta. James and Owen had to take up position of alpha and beta at the moment while we put all of our attention on finding everyone. And Nicole she is in the computer room she hasn't left and she hasn't slept her eyes are bloodshot from constantly staring at the screen the most sleep she gets is little cat naps.

And Carinas family is also restless, but now they are all wolves in my pack but I gave them the freedom to go back to their main headquarters but if summoned they must show up. Unless they have a valid excuse. But they are doing well with the transformation. And now my pack is even more stronger than ever, even at a moment like this where everything is falling apart that is the one thing that grew in strength.

Right now I'm in my office going through old documents of my fathers to see if he left any clues as like another place he would use. But so far I have found nothing. Then the door to my office bursts open and Alessandra comes running in with her spell book in hand and Vlad not too far behind.

"Alpha, I have good news, I know how to find Carina and the others!" she screamed in excitement and I stood up hope coursing through me and Valerius gets excited.

"How?" I asked wanting to know more.

"A blood tracking spell. I could use your blood to track your father since you are a part of him. All I'd need is some Sage, your blood and a map." She says and once again I feel hopeful.

"That's good to hear, get everything together and let me know when you need my blood. Vlad prepare your people. I will prepare mine." I said. And before they can exit the room my phone rings.

"Wait. Hold on, it's a random number." I said to them answering the phone and putting it on speaker.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Why hello son" My father said. My blood started boiling and my wolf becoming agitated.

" Father, where is she." I said trying to suppress my anger.

"Why, is that any way to talk to your father after not seeing him for so long. Don't forget who has who here." He said and I was gripping my desk so hard you could hear the wood about to break.

"You lost that title when you betrayed this pack and kidnapped my mate." I said.

"Ah, yes your mate, She's a pretty thing and feisty, she's got quite the mouth on her. Too bad she's pregnant otherwise I would have had my fun. Don't worry your child is alive. But your mate is very weak, due to my experiment. You can see for yourself I'll send you a picture." He said. And there was a ping on my phone with a message, I opened it and it was an image of Carina with bruises and burn marks. I was ready to shift then and there but I couldn't I needed more and it's taking everything in me not to let Valerius out as he is just as pissed as I am.

"If you touch one more hair on her head I will rip your heart out of your chest and make you watch me eat it." My wolf taking over.  "Now, now son. I was calling because I wanted you to come and meet us and discuss this situation here. You must come alone, and I will know if you've brought others, I will send you the address be there by 8 if you are late you will never see your precious mate again." He said and before I could respond he hung up. I let out a roar that shook the whole house, making my mother, father, brother, Craig, James, Owen and Ayla and Nicole running into the room. "What happened?" They all asked at the same time. "My father has Carina and I have to meet him and he's been torturing her. And I have to go alone with no backup." I said and everyone's faces dropped and my mother had her hand over her mouth. Alessandra was the one who interrupted.

"You won't have to go alone. I can cast a spell to mask everyone's scent so your father and whoever he has working with him thinks we are all humans and I can connect your mind to mine so when you need us send the signal we will be outside the whole time.

"That could actually work." James interrupted. "I mean if she could mask our scents we can make it look like we are human in front and when you give the signal we will all come in." he said.

And there is was that feeling of hope. I just hope that hope doesn't drown out.

A few hours later.

It was 5 o clock and the address my father gave me was for an old factory in the city. And it will take us 3 and a half hours to get there. Right now everyone is getting ready. Including Carinas family. And let's just say they are packing a lot of weapons. "Listen having a wolf is fun and all but like fighting with weapons is so much fun." Marco said. I swear these twins are going to be the death of me, it appears crazy runs in her family. I went to say goodbye to my mother before we left. "be safe sweetheart, and rip your fathers heart out. But bring our girl and our people home." she said before kissing me on the cheek and pulling me in for a hug. "I will mom. I love you." I said to her. "I love you too baby. And look after your brother for me. I know your father will smell his scent and know he is mine and treys and try to come after him. Just make sure he is safe." she said. " I will mom." And I turned to my father " go get them son." he said to me pulling me in for a hug. "Before I go, dad I'm leaving you in charge of killing Christopher and disposing of the body. We don't need him anymore." I said and he nodded. " I can't wait." he said "I can help with that also." I turn to see Carinas uncle Rami who is standing tall with a big smile. "You aren't coming?" I asked. "Nah I'm getting too old for this mission s**t and plus I'd rather not miss all the fun of killing and disposing of a body plus I'm sure your father and I will like some last minute fun before Christopher kisses the ashes." he said and we all laughed. "Just do me a favor. And get my niece back." " I already had that intention." I said. And he put his hand on my shoulder. "I like you, your good for her, especially after the last asshole. I'm proud to call you family." He said. "Alright are you two going to make our first or can we get a move on." Reign said. "Do you want some too. Are you jealous son. if so come give your father a little smoochie." Rami said puckering his lips. And we all laughed. Her family is something else. In times like these they find ways to make each other smile and laugh at the same time. it's so loving even for a mob family.

"Alright everyone get into place, I'm going to set the spell now. And this way we won't have to drive there I will have us portal there. So everyone that is coming form a circle." Alessandra announced. I wondered when she first got here how she can use so much magic without tiring out and then I learned from vlad it's cause sometimes if she's low on energy she borrows from him and since he is immortal he has a lot of it, well she is immortal also but her magic also runs on energy. So we all formed a circle and Alessandra started moving her hands and red magic came out and then she touched each and every one of us and there was a lot there was me, Craig, James, Owen, herself, vlad and his clan and Carinas family. And Ayla and Nicole decided to come they need to get out anyway. After she cast that spell she opened a portal. "Okay everyone, remember Draven goes in first alone we must make it look like we are human bystanders I am dropping us all off 2 blocks away from our location. I don't know if he has people outside so just in case we walk and act normal only when Draven gives the signal do we go in. Otherwise I will turn you all into a nice furry coat. Understood?" she said. "Yes mam." They all cheered and then there was a golden circle I'm guessing it was the portal. I went in first and it felt to weird. Like stepping from one world to another. But in this case one place to another. But still it felt weird.

Now I'm walking until I see the abandoned factory. And before I could reach the door. All I saw was darkness...

An hour later.

I wake up, blinking my eyes open and I look around I am in a white room, standing across from me was Carina she was chained standing up with her arms and legs chained in place. She had her mouth taped up but her eyes her teared up, and I looked down to see that she had a small baby bump. And in that moment my heart swelled with pride. Nothing made me prouder than seeing my mate once again and seeing her carrying our baby. I try to reach out for her but I couldn't get there I was chained to the floor. And this was killing me. I haven't seen Carina in months and all I wanted to do was kiss her and comfort her and feel our baby kick and kiss her belly. I wanted to cry. Because if I hadn't let her go to this mission, maybe, just maybe we could have been in bed right now enjoying our creation grow in her stomach.

  And then that moment was ruined. Why you may ask. My sorry excuse of a father walked in looking all High and f*****g mighty. Goddess I'd love to claw that smirk off his face. He went over to Carina and touched her face. "Don't touch her." I said.

"Tsk tsk tsk. now now son we have all been reunited why don't we salivate in this moment." he said. "I'd rather not." I said and I was looking at Carina and she was staring daggers into my fathers eyes. I was looking her up and down trying to find the bruises from before but they were all healed. Perhaps Alessandra was right and Carinas wolf is absorbing the power. But I swear if looks could kill my father would be dead 20 times over. "Now why did you want me here." I asked. "Why I want my son next to me ruling beside me as it was meant to be. We could rule over everything. And be more powerful doing it." he said. And I looked at Carina who looked at me and shook her head no. My father took the tape off of her mouth. "Whats your answer Carina?" he said  and she spit in his face. "Go to hell!" she said. And I laughed. How I missed her sassy mouth. My father wiped the spit off of his face and then smacked Carina across the face. I growled really loudly making the room shake. "Don't f*****g Touch Her!!" I screamed. "Well she disrespected me. What else was I supposed to do." He said. "So your answer. Sometime tonight might be nice as I don't have all night." He said looking at his fingernails. I hated him so much. Thank the goddess I looked nothing like him, I got everything from my mother including her dark hair thankfully I didn't get his blond hair. "No, I could never work with you. I despise you, You traffick innocent woman and children, and I found out you also experiment on innocent with supernatural blood. And you kidnap my mate and harm her. And you expect me to work with you. Yea. I don't think so." I said. He didn't look to pleased with that answer.

"Well, let's hope this changes your answer." He says walking over to Carina. And he punched her in the stomach. I lost it then. That was my straw. That bastard is trying to take away my family. All it took was for Carina to cry. "No! Stop it! Please! My Baby!" She was hysterical crying. I was trying to break the chains but I was getting nowhere. "You don't want to be a family. You don't get yours!" My father said.

  And he kept punching her, hard. And then there was blood. At that moment I felt f*****g useless. "My... Baby..   You. killed. my. baby. You. Killed. My. Baby. Youu Killed My Babyyyy." And I saw red. Literally I saw red. And the Flames were coming out of her. Her Phoenix powers have come in. And as if on cue I saw white. And in front of my vision was an angel. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am Michael. Your Angel Counterpart. Your father had experimented on you also, when your mother was pregnant with you. He used my blood. The blood of the archangel Micheal. But your angelic powers wouldn't come out until after you found your mate. And now it is time. For me and your wolf to connect." He said. And I came back to the flames and I linked Alessandra. "Now." I said and then I felt it wings being spread out from my back and I broke the chains. But before we could reach my father he locked the doors and shut the lights off. A minute later the lights went back on and it was just me and Carina in the room. Her fire burned out and I put my wings away. Carina was sobbing on the floor. "Our baby. Is gone." she said sobbing. I was stroking her hair crying with her. "I know baby, I know." I said to her. "Let's go home. We will fix this together, and make him pay together."

And thats what we did. After everyone found us. We all went home...
