chapter 14- Missing

         Draven pov

The cameras got staticy and we couldn't see anything. "s**t, can you get them back up." I asked Nicole and Ayla. "We are trying Alpha, but it will take a while for us to hack back into the system will take forever and who knows I think someone messed with the system. s**t they could be walking into a trap, Sergio isn't in his office alone just to be alone I'm sure by now he knows they are there. It's a trap." Ayla said.

"Wait guys don't do in its a trap!" Ayla said again. "s**t they can't hear me the ear pieces are busted." Ayla said throwing the headset on the ground. "So we've lost them!" I said getting pissed and Valerio is getting ready to jump out any minute now he's getting as pissed as me if not more. "This isn't good. I'll have to call her family." Nicole said.

  "f**k!!!"  I started punching the wall. It got too much "someone has mate." Valerio said in my mind. "we don't know that they could have gotten out." I said trying to calm both myself and him. "Well why don't you send reinforcements there to scope out the building. If she isn't there then we will know."Valerio said. "that's a good idea." I said back. "Of course it is I am your wolf spirit and we are an Alpha so we have to think like one." he said. But after that I pushed him to the back of my mind.

"Wait, Nicole, before calling them let me send my men out there to scope the place out if there is no sign of them you call." I said. "Fine, but her uncles won't like it if she is missing and I withheld it for a while. They know the best bounty hunter and he is an incredible tracker, so he will be of help." she said. "Yes but I want to see first like I said it won't be for long just to go there and if they aren't there they will try to track her scent if not then you make the call." I said back. "Okay, your the boss." She said.

  "Craig, I need you to get Jayden and my brother. Something happened on Carinas mission and we think they are missing I'll need you to find them." I mind-linked Craig.

  "s**t I hope they are okay. I mean I didn't feel anything with Jasmine I thought everything was normal. Whoever hurt my baby will pay." he said.

" I expect nothing less." I said. And 5 minutes passed and they came in. And I explained the situation to them. "I will get them back Draven." Talon said to me. "I know brother. Just be careful remember this is just a track and report mission." I said to him placing my hand on his shoulder. "We understand." He said. "Alright, keep me updated, go now so you can catch them." I said to them. And they left. I turn to Ayla crying. "I just don't want to lose my mate I just got him." She said hysterical. "Come, they will be okay. He is a fighter they all are." I said hugging her. "Take the rest of the day off. clear your mind shift if you have to we need to wait till we are updated anyway." She let go and nodded her head. I was worried. I wonder if they got to the cars yet. I can't have my men tracking my mate I should go with them especially be there for Craig too cause Jasmine is his mate. "Craig did you guys leave yet." I asked in mind-link. "We just got to the car, why what's up." he asked. "Good, cause I'm coming with you." I said and cut off the link and then headed to the cars.

"Let's go track some ass." Jayden said as soon as I got in the truck. "Does anything that comes out of your mouth ever relevant?" I asked. "Yes but I wanted to light up the mood. sorry Alpha." he said. I laughed. "It's okay. but yea lets go track some ass." I said and we were off.

  3 hours later

We made it to the address and immediately I smelled Carinas scent. " Their scents are still here must be a good thing." Craig said. "Yes but we will never get in there with the cops around." I said and there was literally like am army of cops. "I had an idea. You might not like it though." Jayden said. "Well we are open to suggestions so what do you have." I said. "Well me and Talon have fake detective badges we mainly use it to pick up chicks but if we use it here me and him could get inside and get their scents and see if they are in there and if not we will follow their scents." Jayden said.

"You f*****g geniuses." Craig said.

"You guys are idiots, why do you need fake badges to pick up girls and where did you get them." I said and they were about to answer but I said. "Nevermind I don't even want to know." I said but was too late when Talon opened his mouth. "We like to have foursomes and Jayden plays good cop while I am bad cop." Talon Said. "That's my boys" Craig said. "Why are you encouraging them." I said. "Because that's a good idea and two we need them right now to act their asses off so good cop and bad cop show us what you got." Craig said winking at them.

  So they went in and they were in there for a while. About 30 minutes in I got a mindlink from Talon. "They aren't in here, but I definitely have Christopher's scent and all of theirs and a few unrecognizable ones. But we have a problem."  "What is it." I said. "They aren't in here so we are coming back. But the scents that are unrecognizable are wolves. Which means either Sergio was working with another pack or Carina and the rest of them were being watched by another pack that has it out for us." He said and I was fuming. They were taken by wolves. "SHIT." I said. "Whats wrong Drav." Craig said. "Your father was there with them. But I don't know what happened to him because he disappeared after the mission started. They aren't there which means they were taken and the other scents that were unrecognizable were wolves so I'm not sure if Sergio was working with another pack or if we have a rival pack." I said punching the dashboard. "I knew I shouldn't have let her come. I had a bad feeling about this." I said getting angrier and Valerio wasn't helping he wanted to come out and kill something but I was using all the willpower I had to keep him down I couldn't have these humans find out about us. Talon and Jayden came back in the car. "Drive and we will follow the scent we got it." Talon said. And Craig drove. "I for one would love to know where the f**k my father went since he wasn't there since it started I doubt he got hurt so where is he." Craig said. "You and me both brother." I said.

"Turn left." Talon said and Craig turned left.

"Keep going straight." Talon said.

"Are we getting closer." I asked getting anxious.

"s**t, that's weird." Talon said. "What, what's weird." I asked. "The scent is gone." He said. "What do you mean the scent is gone, the scent is gone like we found them or its gone gone." I said.

"No like gone. Bye bye. Gone with the wind. poof. disappeared. Sayonara." He said. "This is bad." Jayden said. "Yea no s**t it's bad our mates are missing and now their scent the only lead we had is gone." I said getting mad. "Well that isn't our only lead. You said Sergio was working with another pack. Talk to the council and see if you can get information on who they had on their radar or we can ask Bane. Or maybe hire a witch." Craig said. And I got hope. "Craig you genius I can kiss you!" I said. "Uh-uh lover boy, I'm saving these lips for when we find my mate. Plus Carina will have my head if she finds out about our affair." he said sarcastically. "Shut the f**k up and let's go home."

    3 hours later

We got home and I went into my office I already mindlinked Ayla and told her to come with my parents and Nicole. We waited for 10 minutes and they came in.

"Sweetheart, everything okay?" my mom asked. "Your going to want to sit down." I told them and they did and I explained everything, my mom was already crying and so was Ayla. "My poor daughter in law. And the whole team. I'm sorry Craig I know Jasmine is your mate. I'm sure we will find them. But son, we need to find out who these other wolves are." My mom said. "I couldn't agree more mother, which is why I'm going to contact the council. Nicole, it's time to call her family get them down here and that bounty hunter. Also, Dad can you call that witch you were friends with she can help also." I said. "I'll be in the computer room trying to find anything. I'll keep you updated." Ayla said and then left. "Sure thing son, and don't worry about the council I have my connections in there I'm sure I can get councilmen Renard and Ian to give me information just try not to stress yourself out, I'll also call Alessandra now and see what she can do." He said. "Thanks Dad." I said. And he came over and gave me a hug. "Don't worry son, I might not be your biological father but you are my son and I love you more than life itself, I'd do anything for you. Don't worry we will find them." He said. "I love you too Dad." And as if on cue Christopher walks into my office. "Christopher, where did you come from." My mother said. "Dad?" Craig said. I let go of my father and turned to him. "How are you here. Where are they, Where is my mate." I said. "I can explain." He said. "WHAT HAPPENED. WHERE IS SHEEE." I said and now I was grabbing him by his throat and had him lifted in the air. "Draven let go of my father so he can explain." Craig said. "Yes, please explain, because all of us are wondering how you are here without even a scratch on you and my mate, your sons mate, and aylas mate and Santiago are all gone BUT YOU ARE f*****g HERE." I said. And he just stood there. "ANSWER ME." I was using my Alpha tone and the whole room shook. "Well when we got in it was quiet but they started fighting and I got a call from someone and needed to attend to some other business." He said and I was raging and Valerio was ready to come out and rip his throat out. "So your telling me you left them when I sent you there to MAKE SURE THEY WERE SAFE. THAT WAS THE REASON I SENT YOU THERE WITH THEM!" I said. "Dad how could you be so careless. what was so important you had to leave them." Craig said. And he just stood there. "Well we don't have all day so answer him before my son and yours rip you apart." My mother said fuming. "It was a business partner. Nothing more." he said. And i couldn't take it anymore I punched the wall so hard until I was bleeding my brother and jayden tried to get me to calm down. But nothing worked. I sank to my knees and I started crying I haven't cried since my father disappeared and my brother died. But I was crying now. My mother went to me crying with me "It's okay sweetie. we will find them." she said and I got up. "I still feel my bond with her so I know she is alive, but once I feel it break and she dies just know I'm putting the blame on you. Not even your son will be able to hold me back." I said and I left everyone there and I went outside and shifted with Valerio right now I needed to kill something before I ripped his throat out.

   Unknown pov

"Boss we have Carinas doctor reports. You will not believe it." My personal doctor Said.

I took the reports from him and read them. "Interesting." I said "Looks like we have a baby coming soon." And I looked at Carina and smiled. "What about the others." I asked "They are fine, Alpha." He said. "Good work Stanley. Now I'm going to have a chat with Mrs. Mannaro." I said and I went into the room. I tapped her "Carina, wake up." she didn't budge. So I tapped her once more. "Wake up." She still didn't budge. I brought my hand across her face. "WAKE UP." I said. And she woke up. "Well hello sleeping beauty." I said pulling a chair in front of her.

"Where am I? Who the f**k are you?" She said. And I laughed. "He's got a fiery mate on his hands I see." I said to her. And I rubbed my fingers across her cheek. "Don't touch me!" She said trying to move her face away. "Now, now I wouldn't get so feisty if I were you. After all you are pregnant you should think about how you talk to me because from the looms of it your tied to a chair and I have the upper hand and I wouldn't suggest you try to cut the ropes they have electric wiring so it will shock you and it will he excruciating." I said. And I grab her face. "So beautiful, unlike my mate who betrayed me." I said. "I said DONT f*****g TOUCH ME!" she said.

  "Tsk tsk tsk, now now Carina is that any way to speak to your Father-in-law."
