chapter 13- The Mission

      2 months later

  Carinas pov

it's been 2 months since I've been a wolf and life had been calm. Though I've been sparring with the pack members and my members which has been fun. But I do miss having my assassin missions weird thing is that I haven't had any missions since before I met Draven. I hope I get one soon. Right now I'm training with Santiago. We have been training for hours. We started off with gun and knife training now we are sparring.

I do have an advantage though because of my new supernatural strength. So you can say I've been punching the s**t out of him.

"Is that the best you've got capo." he said.

"No I've got more where that came from." I said winking. And I swept my leg under his feet and knocked him on his ass.

"Not so fast." he said and then he kicked my leg and I myself fell to the ground.

"Good, good but you gotta work on observing your enemy. We've been over this millions of times." I said to him.

"Carina you know I'm better with a gun and my fists, I leave the observing to you." He said.

"I wonder sometimes how you've lasted so long in my team." I said.

"Oh stop it, you know you love me." He said.

"Yea not as much as Nicole though." I said. I knew they have been having some sort of relationship lately. I just never said anything.

"Wait, you know about that.?" he asked.

"I'm the boss and assassin for a reason I notice these things." I said.

"Carina, Carina!" Rafael was shouting.

"Yea, what's up, did something happen." I asked.

"Your phone is ringing, someone is looking for the black phantom." he said and I grabbed the phone and picked up.

"Hello?" I said.

"Black Phantom, I need you. There is a street gang that is trying to move into the new york territory with s*x trafficking. I'm offering 3 million to get the job done." he said.

" I need a name." I said.

"Sergio Garcia." the man said. My blood started to boil. Sergio thought he could start do this and I wouldn't find out.

"I'll get the job done tonight." i said

"Good I'll wire the money once I have proof." he said. After that I hung up.

"Well, who was that and what did they want with the black phantom we haven't had a mission in almost a year." Santi said.

"Well Boys, get the girls and gear up we have a mission tonight. Today's target is Sergio Garcia." I said.

"Yess we can get this bastard." Santi said.

"Raf I'm going to need Ayla and Nicole in the control room. Make sure you find everything you can on all cameras in the city. Call our lowers in New York tell them to beef up security on the hotel, And to send men on the streets getting all information they can I don't care if they have to flirt to get it this job gets done tonight." i said.

"Got it. I myself can't wait to get these bastards." Raf said. And I know he did.

"If I don't get to kill him before you see him ill let you do it you have as much right to kill him as I." I said. He came over and gave me a hug.

" Thank you. I appreciate it. Has anyone ever told you your the best because you are and I'm so lucky to call you my boss, capo, friend and sister." he said.

"I love you, you know that I love all you guys like my siblings." I said.

"Hey let me get in on that action. GROUP HUG." Santi said. And he came and gave us a big bear hug and we laughed.

And then we went on our separate ways. I went to Draven, Santi went to get Jasmine and get the weapons ready. And Raf went to find Ayla and Nicole to go to the control room.

  "Are you ready for your first mission with me as an assassin." I asked Callida.

  "I'm ready when you are it's on like donkey Kong bitch." she said and I laughed.

I had found Draven in his office. With another man.

"Hey babe, Meet Christopher, Craig's father. He was the beta before his son and worked with my father." He said.

"Hi, nice you meet you Luna." He said.

"Likewise, Draven I've come to let you know I have a mission tonight and I won't be home till later." I said and his whole demeanor changed.

"What do you mean mission." he asked.

"I got a call someone needs me as black phantom tonight. I'm going and taking my team with me." I said.

"Carina i don't know if I trust it with Sergio out on the loose." he said.

"Let me stop you there, because Sergio and his gang are my target, and may I remind you that before I was your luna I was and still am a capo and assassin, I don't need your permission. And I'll be with my team I've done hundreds of missions with them with worse people. I can take it." I said.

"It's not you I don't trust, it's Sergio, I just care about your safety. And I cannot go with you because I have meetings tonight with Bane. And I need Craig and Owen tonight." he said.

"I'll go, I wouldn't mind seeing you in action I've heard about you your incredible. Also it would be nice to get into some action again. Plus Sergio I have a vendetta with him too." Christopher said.

"Perfect it's settled." Me and Draven said at the same time.

"Well then Christopher I suggest you meet with Santiago and Jasmine and gear up. I'm heading into the control room." I said.

"Wait." Draven said.

And Christopher left. leaving me with Draven.

"I'm sorry I don't mean to make you feel underestimated I know you are fully capable of handling this on your own I'm just worried about your safety." he said kissing my forehead.

"I know but remember I'm also a leader and I've been doing this a long time I know what I'm doing. But I understand because if it was you I would feel the same way. And I love you for it." I said kissing him back.

"Just be safe and come back to me. And make sure that son of a b***h is dead." He said.

"I will, my Alpha." I said kissing him one more time before heading off.

I headed to the control room seeing Raf, Ayla and Nicole.

"Have you guys found anything?" I asked.

"Yea was about to call you. We found their warehouse. Let's just say they rebuilt over the last warehouse." Rafael said.

"Either they are really stupid or they wanted to be found. Why do I get the feeling like this is too easy." I said.

"Yea I felt that too, which is why I think Nicole should stay here with Ayla in the control room. They'll have the visuals on everything and we'll get earpieces to communicate. Also if things go south Nicole will be able to contact your family in the middle east and Sicily so we will have backup in case. I don't trust Sergio or that caller as far as I can throw them so this is the best option." Raf said.

"Good thinking Raf I knew there was a reason you were my second. Also Christopher, Craigs dad is coming Dravens way of making sure we make it back in one piece so it's okay if Nicole stays here." I said.

"Dam so this will be the first I won't be on a mission with you guys." Nicole said.

"It's okay you'll be here watching it first hand. it'll be like a movie." I said.

And she laughed "I for one am looking forward to that." Ayla said. And we laughed at that.

"just keep my mate safe." Ayla Said winking at Raf.

"Don't worry." I said

I exited the room to Christopher on the phone. He hung up the moment I came out. Weird.

"Oh sorry I was talking to my wife, telling her I won't be home tonight." he said. But I could tell he was lying. I don't know something about him I didn't trust. But there was no time to debate it to Draven.

"Right, well I'm going to say bye to Draven and then we will be out." I said. And left with that.

I found Draven in the bedroom. I got dressed really quick. I have all black on with a weapons belt. I exited the closet. And Draven was on the bed.

"I wish I could go with you to make sure nothing happens." he said.

"I know, maybe next time you'll see me in action but you can also see everything in the control room Nicole and Ayla will be keeping an eye on everything." I said kissing him.

"I'll keep that in mind, I'll go after my meeting with Bane." he said.

"Alright, I love you. I'll see you when I get home." I said.

"I love you too." He said.

Before we left Jasmine went to say bye to Craig. And we left. Before we headed to their warehouse, I headed to the hotel to get some explosives and more guns. And then we got there normally Jasmine would be sniping but because there isn't any windows it makes no sense so everyone inside.

"Alright, Nicole, Ayla we are going in." I said. "Copy." They said "Oh and Draven is here watching everything." they said. And I smiled. "Hi baby, get ready for the action." I said. "Oh can't wait. Just go kick some ass."

"Christopher are you ready for this. This is your first assassin mission it's about to get hectic." I said.

"I'm ready." he said.

"Let's kick some ass" Santi said.

"Let's blow this place up." I said.

I kicked the door open and Raf threw in the smoke grenades. We got the guns ready. I was packed with guns and knives. So was the boys and Jasmine. Christopher just had his claws extended. And then the cavalry came I was throwing knives and sneaking up on people everywhere. Jasmine was trying to run up the stairs for higher ground and Santi was shooting everyone and throwing grenades at people. And Rafael was behind me. I was looking for Christopher but he was nowhere to be seen.

"Nicole, Ayla, Do you have eyes on Christopher I can't find him." I asked.

"No we'll keep searching though." Ayla said.

"Where the f**k is sergio." i said.

"It looks like he's in a office." Nicole said.

"Alright, time to show them why they call me the black phantom." I said.

And I did I was breezing through people with my knives killing everyone in sight and thanks to my werewolf strength I was a little faster than usual. Within 5 minutes everyone was dead and we were all covered in blood except Jasmine cause she had the higher ground shooting people.

"Don't you look clean as a whistle." Santi said to Jasmine.

"I'm pure at heart repels the blood." she said.

"Pure at heart my ass your as pure as a w***e house from like the 19th century." Santi said.

"Oh shut the f**k up. At least I got more kills than you. Or were you not counting." she said.

"Actually I got more. I'm in the game too remember." I said.

"Wait you guys actually have a game to see who has the most kills." Ayla said.

"Yes" we all said in unison.

"That's sick. And by the way you were all badass. So were you babe, your getting a prize when you get home." Ayla said.

"Can you guys get a room." Jasmine said.

"We can't I'm here and she's there." Raf said.

"Alright let's get this bastard. Ayla Did you find Christopher." I asked.

"No I haven't seen him on the cameras." she said. so weird.

"Alright let me know when you do I for one would like to know where the f**k he has been this whole time." I said.

We ran into the office. and saw Sergio.

"Guys we can't see anything the cameras are all static." Nicole said.

"G..u.y......" the ear pieces cut off. so now we were blind.

"Any last words." I said to Sergio.

" Don't miss cause if you do I'll come for you again." he said.

"Good thing i don't." I shot him straight through the head.

"Alright. let's get home I need a nice hot bath with some wine and my bed." said Santi.

"Your such a girl." I said.

As we were walking out we got back to the lobby.

"Santi. call the team to come burn the place before the cops get here."

"Alright." he said and then we saw Christopher.

"Where the f**k were you this whole time." I said.

"Sorry, sorry I was taking care if some business." he said.

"What business, we were here on a mission. it's completed now no thanks to your help." I said.

"I know, and I'm sorry. But he made me do it." He said.

"Who made you do what. what are you talking about."

"Carina!" Rafael screamed.

But after that all I saw was darkness.
