chapter 15- Sins of the father

    Carinas pov

" Tsk tsk tsk, now now Carina is that any way to speak to your father-in-law." Father in law. "Father in law, you aren't my father in law. And I'm not pregnant I would have known." I said. And he just sat there staring at me. Sitting in the chair across from me with his silky purple suit and he had pale blond hair and dark eyes honestly he looked more like a vampire than a wolf but I can smell his scent he is definitely a wolf.

"Callida are we really pregnant." I asked my wolf. "Yes, Carina but it is still early you are only 8 weeks." she said back to me. "Ah, linking your wolf I see, if you didn't believe me all you had to do was ask for proof, I have the papers right here." He said pulling a paper out of his front pocket. "look these are your doctor reports." he said and I looked at them at it confirmed I was pregnant. But I didn't show any worry. "These could be fake." I said. And he chuckled. "You did just confront your wolf I'm sure she told you what you need to know." And he came close to me and took my face in a tight grasp almost in a jaw breaking hold. "Never, insult me by calling me a liar again." He said to me. "But why, why keep me alive why have me checked out. Where is my team?" I asked. "Don't worry they are well taken care of. And I'm keeping you alive till I find the right time to contact that son of mine and get him to join me. It us his rightful place after all, by my side, ruling over the humans like we are supposed to." He said. "Your son? Wait your Dravens Father?" I asked already knowing the answer. "Yes, I am his father. Not that pathetic second chance my wife has. Once I'm done ill have her back with me and her and their son dead." He said. And I laughed. "What did I say something that amuses you." He looked at me angrily. "Your the bastard that was working with Sergio, trafficking innocent woman and children. You disgust me and Draven will never work with you, I won't let him I'd rather die then let that happen I may be a lot of things but I have morals." I said looking him dead in the eye challenging him.

  "He will once he knows what's on the line. But all in good time. My dear, but first we have some fun planned." He said. And with that I heard him summoning one of his men. I took the chance to try and link Draven. "draven?" but nothing. "I wouldn't try contacting him, you can't. you see there is wolfsbane all over this room and in the walls you can't contact anyone outside this building." He said with a smirk. And when he said that I knew I could still contact Jasmine and Raf being that they were both wolves now. The only one I was concerned with was Santiago. "Raf? Jasmine?" I linked both of them. "Yes, boss" they both said in unison. "Are you guys okay?" I asked them. "Yes we are fine, we are all together all 3 of us and we are unharmed. are you okay." Jasmine said. "I'm fine for now just having a chat with Dravens father. I need to find out how Christopher links to this." I said. "Wait his father is behind this." Raf asked. "Yes. I'll talk to you guys again later Don't want h to suspect anything." I said and closed the link.

"Talking to your wolf again?" He asked. "Yea we were thinking. I mean you are my father in law but I don't know your name. It would be nice to know the name of the man who created my mate." I said seductively, trying to gain answers without him suspecting that I was interrogating him. "Your right. I'm sorry Dear let me introduce myself, My name is Dominic Anthony Mannaro." Okay good 1 point for me 0 for him. "So being that you were Alpha before Draven you must have had different people working with you, how did that work out." I asked. "Well you see I'm Dravens father my beta and Gamma and delta were the dads of the now beta Gamma and delta. But the only one who remained loyal to me even after all these years was Christopher. He's been giving me information for years now." He said. "That's always great, it's so hard to find loyal people. Especially now there's always someone trying to sell you out." I said winking at him. He really is stupid giving me all this information. "Okay. chit chats over time for fun." He says with that wicked smile of his. And he comes back with a big metal object, gas and a lighter. The hell is he doing. "Since I can't harm the baby just yet I'll still have my fun." He said and spilled the gasoline onto the metal object and then lit it on fire and he started pressing it to my skin. One thing he didn't know about me though is that I'm very tolerant of pain I like it even so torturing me wasn't going to do anything. So I just laughed. "What is so funny, I'm literally burning you." He said. "Hahaha It tickles. Hahahaha" I said and he frowned almost like he was counting on torturing me. He just burned me a few more times and then he stopped. He walked away and came back with a syringe that had a fiery red substance in it.

"This is the Blood of a Phoenix, This will make you feel like your bones are melting so even if I can't physically hurt you this will. I don't know if my son told you but I like experimenting on humans and the supernatural like us I even experimented on my sons, My other son Dino with well the same as you Phoenix blood and Draven with Angel blood. And myself, I have Vampire blood in my veins. Though Draven doesn't know he was an experiment his powers never really came through but I'm hoping yours won't also just that it will hurt you for now." And then he injected me with it. "AAHHHHH" That s**t hurt I even started crying. Oh no my baby.

"Callida the baby." I said calling for my wolf.

"Don't, this will make us and the baby stronger. He doesn't know we are a white wolf which are rare and powerful so we will absorb this power so just go with it for now. Do nothing." My wolf said. "Well not much I can do I'm tied to this f*****g chair and getting literal fire being put in my body." I said but she left already. okay so do nothing I just have to act like this like it hurts and if my powers come through don't give him the satisfaction of knowing...

   Dravens pov

We are doing everything we can to find Carina but I'm still waiting for her family to get out here we've had to build extra rooms so all of them can fit and that witch my dad knows is coming and she's bringing her mate which is a bloody f*****g Vampire we have never interacted with vampires but I will have to for Carina and the rest of them I owe them that much. I've also had surveillance on Christopher. Something seems off on how he showed up without a scratch and some bullshit ass story. If he had anything to do with this I will make sure he dies a slow death.

There was a knock on my door. "Come in." I said and Nicole came in "Carinas family is here." "Alright I'll be right there. thank you. And Nicole, we will find them just hang tight." I told her. She just gave me a sad smile and left the room. I went to head down myself and saw two large groups of people and 4 men at the head of it all. One was tall, tanned muscular with a man bun on his head with honey brown eyes. the other two looked to be twins but one with blond hair and the other with curly black hair and both had tan skin And both had hazel eyes. And the last guy had light blue eyes with tan skin and black hair "Gentlemen, Thank you for coming on such short notice though I wish we could meet on better circumstances. I'm Draven, Carinas husband." I said shaking all of their hands they all tried sizing me up and squeezing my hand but I was much stronger and taller than them. "I'm Rami Samir Carinas uncle in the middle east I run the triad I'm here with my people, my wife, and my son and daughters. This is my wife Noura.  That is my son Reign he runs illegal fight clubs all over the world and he owns the black market, My daughter Amira who is an assassin and does heists and lastly my oldest daughter and heir Jelena." He said. Wow Carina really has a criminal family. "Nice to meet you all. Hopefully when this is all over we can get well acquainted." They nodded their heads in agreement. "We are Joseph and Marco Romano Sicilian mafia and assassins they call us the Grim Reaper Twins. And we have no children currently cause we aren't married yet." They said winking at all the shewolves. I'll definitely have my hands full with them. "Nice to meet you guys." I said. "And I am Maddox Artemis, bounty hunter, Carina is a good friend of mine I helped train her as did her whole family and her team." he said and I shook his hand. "Nice to meet you." "So Draven tell us what do you do for a living because you have a bug ass house with a lot of people in it." Reign said. "Well since you guys will be staying with me I might as well explain everything." I said and I did I explained everything. And at first they didn't believe me until I showed them. They were all surprised. "So Carina is one of you now. Must be nice. And so I think it's time we head to the control room and see what we can do. Also we are going to have to talk to that Christopher guy what he did is suspicious I for one don't trust what the guy did there is more to it definitely." Maddox said. "I couldn't agree more which is why I've been spying on him, he's had a few weird phone calls lately and he runs away all the time when he has them." I said. "Leave that to us we are good at catching rats." They literally all said in unison. "Alright then before you guys get started I'm sure you're all going to want to settle in and put your stuff away." They left to settle in, and then I got a mindlink from my father. "son Alessandra and her mate are here." he said "Alright send them to my office." I said and then headed to my office. 5 minutes later there was a knock on the door. "Come in." I said and my father came in with a woman and a man. The woman who I assumed was Alessandra had Dark red hair pale skin and green eyes. The man next to her who I assumed was her Vampire mate had light brown hair pale skin and sandy green eyes. "Son I'd like you to meet Alessandra and her mate Vlad." The woman smiled at my father. "Thank you Trey, Hello Draven I hear you need help finding your mate. Me and my mate can help you with that. In fact I already know who has her. I am a very powerful witch I have been alive a long time one of my powers is premonition I see the future. So I know who has her." She said. And then Vlad spoke. "I also have my clan on standby if you need our assistance anything to help. You may think that me being a vampire we have a feud. Wrong. I've been around a long time and I have all of eternity to live luckily I'm one of the cool ones I just hope you can feel the same." he said. "That's great and i couldn't agree more, at the end of the day we are all the same so i wouldn't mind having a vampire at my side. Now tell me who has my mate."

"Your father." Alessandra said. I felt like I'd just been slapped in the face.

"I'm sorry can you repeat that cause it sounded like you said my father has my mate." I said.

"Yes, Draven. Your father your real father. and right now he is plotting against you. And there is one more thing you need to know." She said.

"And what is that."

  "Carina. Your mate, She is pregnant."
