"It's okay Nathan, You did what you had to do. Anyone would have done that too" I replied, dismissing him.
He left shortly after bowing his head to him.
When I was done with everything, I quickly ran over to meet Sophia at the pack clinic.
She was being fed porridge by her maid by the time I came in.
"How have you been doing my love?" I asked, sitting beside her on the bed.
"You're here with me, so naturally, I'm good" She replied with a smile.
"I'm glad to hear that…. I should be with you more often as regards to that" I replied.
"You're already doing your best" She declared, her lips curving up into a smile.
Wow…. That smile….. gave me the jingles….. and I felt like eating her up.
"What's wrong? Why are you suddenly quiet?" She asked, seizing me up.
