As the morning sun painted the sky with hues of orange and pink, I stood before our pack, flanked by my trusted elders.
Clearly my throat, I started addressing them, “Good morning, my loyal pack members. I trust you all had a restful night and are ready to face the day with determination and unity.”
“Yes Alpha, and you too?” They asked.
“I'm well, my people,” I answered.
