The sun was shining brightly in the sky, marking the beginning of a new day. My eyes opened widely on hearing the chirping of birds, and also, the sound of driving cars.

They have come to spend time with me. Miss Sofia and Lynn pleaded with me for a visit to the Orphanage home. " I don't think I have strength for that."" I replied to them, sounding so weak, while still in the sitting room.

The next morning, I visited the hospital to check if there wasn't anything wrong with me. I personally knew that the biggest thing that could be the cause was that I had malaria.

I was called to the doctor's office after going through some tests.

I was short of words. I stuttered, chuckling, "What can be more serious than being ill?"

"This is your result," the man said, handing me a form.

'I am pregnant?' I thought, my hands shaking. I asked the doctor, ""the result shows I am two weeks pregnant? Is this mine or someone else's result?""

I pant hard, I imagine the smile that will fill Mrs Rebecca's face if I relate the good news to her.?"

Tears rolled down my eyes. I could feel my heartache.
