KIRA woke up when she smelled something sweet. She opened her eyes and immediately got up from lying down. Her eyes immediately stopped in the door’s direction. Her forehead creased as she swallowed hard. She chewed her lips to stop herself from getting drooled over the…. the sweet scent coming from outside.
It was sweet, like an apple, freshly sliced and crushed that the juice’s scent lingers inside her room.
“Are you okay?”
Kira turned to see Raven that is now looking at her with worry plastered on his face. He was now standing beside her bed, with a glass of water in his hand. She ignored her man as her eyes looked back at the closed door of the room.
“Who’s outside,” she asked instead of answering him.
“Some guards, Kyno and Kiel,” he answered.
