I stayed on the bed hugging the pillow to myself. My tears were dancing in my eyes but I held them back. Bee was right.
I had to be strong. This was a war.
War against Luciano and his horrible plans to destroy my family. War against the hatred he had placed into Asher's heart.
Since the seduction didn't work, I would just have to try some other way to get into his heart.
I hugged his robe around my naked body and was going to probably continue gloating when the door suddenly banged open.
"You!" Asher growled as he hovered into the room, his eyes red with rage. "What are you still doing here? Didn't I f*****g ask you to leave?"
My heart jumped to my chest as I slowly got off the bed. Cold air clutched my lungs as I realized I had to tread as carefully as possible
