“What?” She shook her head, completely lost. “I transformed, Danni,” he said with a grinning expression on his face. “I had to rush home and I was hiding in the back yard, but I transformed and it was the most painful and amazing experience that I’ve ever had. It had been years since I transformed last and I suddenly felt that rush and that painful burn that washes over you when you transform. It was exhilarating, but after I was done, I was thinking about it and the only thing that could have caused me to transform would be that my block was suddenly cleared.
