CHAPTER FOURTEEN The headlights in the rearview mirror leveled out as the Jeep reached the bottom of the embankment, the chassis bouncing on powerful shocks. Zero could hear voices over its engine, shouts of people following the vehicle on foot, likely cops and Feds alike. “All right,” he murmured to the car, “just need you to go a little further.
