A depression friend.

743 Words
”WHAT in the world?!” yelled Joe and Jet out of fear “Ahhhhhaaa RUN!” both rushed out of the classroom as Joe dragged along Jin and Jet with both of his arms.  The four boys rushed out of the room into the empty corridor stopping aside to catch their breath, releasing themselves from terror.   “Hey, why did you drag us along with you?!” asked Jin standing up “you know very well that we could investigate the matter”.   “NO NEED!!!!!” shouted back Jan exhaling twice at a time. All the boys locked at him growing surprise by his expression.   “Jan, you are pale buddy” said Jet by noticing his friend’s fear. “Yes…. Yes   I am scared” trembled the decent boy while holding his shirt from the heart side “it’s getting creepy my friends. I don’t like where this is going. Please let us get out of here. WE are getting late to go back home”. His friends just stared at him as the boy continued to beg, please let’s leave for home. He feared that something worse might happen, maybe other students will get involve or we might get locked in prison. “PLEASE!!! DON’T GO any further!” cried the boy as his voice choke in his throat. He wanted to argue and protest but, the words just didn’t leave his lips. His voice was wavering as he wasn’t able to continue.   His friends didn’t feel good for him. He was more depressed by all more than any one as his nervousness was getting chilled. A palm rested on Jan’s shoulder. He looked up and saw Jet gawking at him, his eyes and face gleaming with encouragement. “Don’t be scared, nothing will happen. The cops will take care of everything soon they arrive. Cheer up! There is nothing to worry about” his friend tried to calm him and looked like it worked.   “Really?” asked Jan in little hope of courage as his tensed and scared expression started to ease up slowly.   “Yeah! It’s dangerous here” added Jin his words by the side of Jet “let’s go out. Once we carry our stuffs from our class we will leave this place and never return to this horrible building. Come on!” he took Jan’s palm gently and started walking back towards their own class room. “We should hurry up with our stuffs”. By rubbing his soaked eyes, that was watery with tears Jan nodded agreeing to him. Meanwhile, Joe and Jet were still. Standing at their pose watching them getting distanced from their position when Joe asked “Jet, tell me why did you two lie to him?”   “To remove a negative thought during the period of confusion you are sometimes forced to wear a fake mask. It was least the better thing we could do” replied Jet still gazing at his two friends holding each other’s hand and walking hand in hand their back towards them. Perhaps, when the surrounding was growing bitter one may stay strong from outside but, from inside he still needs encouragement for his acts. It was better if Joe gave some credits for Jet’s acting for helping Jan however, not all can have the heart of courage. “I hope you were wrong about it, Jet” replied Joe seriously. Even he himself wasn’t sure about what was happening neither he felt safe none satisfied about it.   On the other hand, Jet replied in grave “Even I wish the same for my own words”. This shocked the boy shifting his sight straight on his friend’s face who was watching his friends.   The moment silence caught the corridor a cry of moan echo the hall. “Ooooo….” Hearing this cold deep cry like an innocent creature moaning in pain all the four boys froze in fear.        Jet’s heart pumped extra seconds his fist  shivering as he tried to stay still. Joe began to breathe out several times, his heart beat beating till his chest as his ears were pumping out the pressure. Jin stood still shivering all over himself whereas Jan was out of his sense. His heart pumped till his head as his ears went deaf by shock and he felt dizzy “You must escape…..” echoed a cold voice of a female.
