Joe was completely frightened by looking at her. His heartbeat pumped till his head that felt as though it was hammering his skull. That ghostly creature smiled greeting,
“How are you patient?”
On her reply, Joe's lips shivered as his breath choked in his throat and he answered in one word squeezing out the air “….Luca………..”
“It’s been a while boy since we last met” spoke the little girl Luca in a creepy voice talking as though she liked speaking to him or as if they were friends “what happened?”
“Why are you here?” asked Joe in fear trying his best to act calm but to no avail.
At first, he wasn’t much frightened when he saw her back in the school because he was able to move around and could defend himself.
Tragically here, he was locked on the bed unable to do anything. He couldn’t get up, jump off the bed or shout out for his life, he was trapped from all sides which made his heart fall heavy in fear. His body was shivering as though he was cold and his eyes didn’t blink. He couldn’t move his sight off that girl in horror and was petrified that she might do something to him.
On the other hand her voice replied in a heavy voice, “I came for the same statement…..”
“What?!” shocked the boy has she continued,
“Find the solution and escape the game. Find the relic and escape from the game if you hope to be alive. Death surrounds you everywhere…..”
Each time she switched to different sentences her voice tone changed, from childish to adult from adult to heavy ghostly voice again then reversing to childish.
By viewing this Joe was getting scared. He was a boy
YES!
And wasn’t supposed to be afraid on the other hand he was still a human who had bundles of emotions in his heart.
“Hahahahaha….. neneneeeee…. Hahahaha……” laughed the creature in a heavy voice that stabbed his heart.
In an instead, he pulled himself up trying to struggle on his legs as he tried to move them but it felt completely lifeless, “Darn it my legs, why aren’t they moving?!” when he pulled away the white blanket to check on them, he got stunned to find both of his ankle were chained to the bed. They were firmly still that the boy didn’t even feel something was locking his feet.
“What is this?!” yelled the boy in terror. He tried pulling them but the chains kept its hold on his feet.
“This is what I meant….” came up her childish voice.
He turned his gaze to the left unexpectedly to find Luca was right next to his feet. In a blink of an eye she appeared at that spot. She pulled the blanket off his hand and covered up the feet saying, “See. Death is everywhere unless you won’t move…. Nothing would change…..” she looked up at him with her head twisting 180 degree to the left and she spoke in a loud dreadful hissing voice “Everyone will kill you!”
“AAAAAAAAAAH!!” At the next second Joe screamed with all his might “aaaah!! LEAVE JUST! JUST! LEAVE ME FOR GOOD!!”
This scream shocked the entire hospital which included Doctor Nilefil and Mister Sevin. Both rushed straight to the room and burst in when the teacher called “JOE!! WHAT HAPPENED?! HUH!” they both got shocked to find him laying half on the bed and half on the floor.
Both the men rushed to him when Sevin picked him up and placed him back on the bed, lying him straight, the doctor asked from behind, “How is he? Is he dead?”
“He’s…..” surprised Sevin upon looking at the frozen boy, “He’s sleeping…..” this wasn’t expected.
Moreover, people would faint or grow crazy after screaming in such a loud terror but, out of explanation, this boy had fallen asleep.
How could this be possible?
“Let me check him” suggested Nilefil when Sevin stepped back and the doctor took his place. He sat down on the chair, checking his heart beat and pulse plus, his fever with his gloved brows.
Meanwhile, a strange fact took place. While Sevin was standing beside the doctor, he heard a low giggle that surprised him. When he peeped over his left shoulder, sneaking at the door, there noticed a slim object running out as a white cloth swinging on air as it got his sight. This surprised him wandering with a question when did it enter here while he spoke out in confounded,
“Luca?”
