“Do you have everything you need?” Bisi asked as she fed Faaz with a bottle.
Amina rummages through her bag again to make sure she wasn’t leaving anything behind. “Yeah I’ve got everything.”
“Okay, good.” Her friend turned and moved to the window. Amina just stood there watching her, she stared at her babies and chewed her lip in contemplation, ruining her lipstick.
Bisi turned to her and frowned. “What are you waiting for? Go already or you’re going to be late, you don’t want unpunctuality to be your first impression.”
“I know,” she moved closer to her friend and played with the baby’s cheek. “But I don’t want to leave them, this is the first time I’ll be without them.” He smiled at her, displaying his milky gum like he understood what she was saying.
