Some people were stress eaters. Gideon was a stress eater, which, honestly, was a bit frightening. Jesse, on the other hand, had always turned to shopping when he needed an outlet and s*x wasn’t an option. Somehow, acquiring a bunch of stuff he didn’t need and may never use always improved his mood. The more frivolous, the better. He didn’t want to get something home and realize that he needed it all along, and he was totally justified in purchasing it.
