The Girl Who Made Dreamland

    There once was a girl named Ariel. She has dreamed of making her own land. One day she was walking the halls of her family’s new house. She found a door that was locked and she went to find her father.

    “Daddy daddy I found a door upstairs that is locked,” Ariel told her father.

    “Really baby. Well I guess we should look and see what is inside the room. Just let me get the keys,” her father told her.

    They went to get the keys and headed upstairs to the room. Ariel’s father put the key in the hole and unlocked the door. When they looked inside all they seen was a room with a couple of chairs. Ariel was disappointed. Her father looked at her and smiled because he loved how excited she gets over everything. Ariel just watched her father and smiled back.

    That night Ariel went to bed. She was laying in bed thinking about what it would be like to make her own world and what it would look like. When she was close to falling asleep she heard some noise come from down the hall. Ariel got up to see what the noise was. When see got close to the locked room the noise got louder. She opened the door to the locked room and saw a field of roses and daisies. She walked into the room and out came a little person.

    “Hi my name is Lola,” the little person said.

    “Hi my name is Ariel,” she replied.

    “It’s nice to meet you and welcome to dreamland,” Lola said.

    “Dreamland what is that,” Ariel asked.

    “Well everywhere you look you can make anything you dream come to life. You see those flowers over there. Those just appeared tonight,” Lola said.

    “I was just thinking about those types of flowers before I heard noise come from in here,” Ariel said.

    “Well then you are the queen of Dreamland,” Lola said.

    “How can I be queen if I just found the place,” Ariel asked.

    “Well that is easy because you made this place,” Lola said.

    “But there are only flowers that can be all there is in a land,” Ariel said.

    “Well you can make more out of the land” Lola said.

    Ariel thought about it and then she started walking around the land. She thought of violets. When she opened her eyes she say the violets appear. She was so surprised. She then got very excited about everything. Ariel turned and looked at Lola.

    “Well I guess you can see the fun it this now,” Lola said.

    “Yes I can. I want to build a castle next,” Ariel said.

    Ariel looked around to find the best spot to build the castle. When she seen the hill she decided that was the best spot. Ariel thought of a big pink castle with twenty rooms. She wanted to look inside the castle so she thought of a horse drawn carriage. When the carriage appeared she was so excited she got in. Ariel looked at Lola to get in. They rode up to the castle. Ariel and Lola walked into the castle and Ariel was amazed. There were big pictures of her on the walls.

    Ariel went up the stairs. To find the rooms. She looked in each room and found all kinds of fancy furniture. In the room with double doors she found thrones. Ariel went to sit on the big one and she motioned for Lola to sit on the one next to her.

    After awhile of sitting on the throne Ariel walked over to the window and looked below. She thought there should be people down there and then they appeared. Then Ariel thought they need places to live so she thought of houses. She turned to Lola to find her asleep. Ariel thought that was a good idea. So she went to the room next to the throne room where there was a bed. The minute her head hit the pillow she was out.

    The next morning when Ariel awoke she was in her own room and bed. She went to look in the locked room and found that it was empty. Ariel figured it was a dream. So that night when Ariel went to bed she just layed down to sleep to only here the noise from last night again. Ariel got up and went to the locked room to find that everything from last night was back. She went to the castle.

    She found that Lola was already there. Ariel went to the window and the first thing she thought of was a land of balloons. Then she thought of a place full of candy. Ariel turned to Lola who was amazed by the ideas that Ariel had. Ariel turned back around and made and amusement park and everyone she made last night looked amazed and ran for the amusement park. Ariel wanted to try the amusement park first and she thought of a zip line that would take her all the way to the amusement park.

    Ariel and Lola got on the zip line and went all the way to the amusement park. The people looked at them while they were zip lining and was amazed by it. Ariel got to the amusement park and ran through all the rides there. Then she started to play the games. The more she rode and played the more she thought up. When Ariel got tired she just sat at the table and put her head down. When she woke up she was in her room again. That night Ariel didn’t hear any noise but she went to look in the locked room to find everything gone no dreamland. That disappointed her but she decided it was probably for the best and from that day on she lived like a normal kid. She made friends and hung out with her parents.
