Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess. Her name was Elizabell. She was going to make a difference. She was to be a wonderful queen. There was just one thing standing in her way. His name was Thomas. He was a prince from another kingdom. A kingdom that was dominated. The king and queen in that kingdom never listed to what their subjects said. Never took in to consideration of other people but themselves.     Elizabell went to see her parents one morning. They told her they would be having a visitor. That made Elizabell happy. She loves when people visit. Her parents told her that his name is Thomas. That he is a prince from another kingdom. He would be staying for a couple of weeks. And they asked if she would help him around while he was there. That just made Elizabell jump some more for happiness.     The next morning Thomas was getting ready to leave for another kingdom for the next couple of weeks. His parents told him he had to befriend the little princess. Thomas parents want to take over their neighbor kingdom like they have done with all the others. Thomas didn’t feel the same as his parents. They never listened to him though.     In the next few hours Thomas was on the way to the neighbor kingdom he couldn’t stop thinking what this princess would be like. Was she going to be rude and stuck up or was she going to be nice?     Elizabell was getting everything ready for their visitor. She had her friends helping her. The staff prepared some great food for Thomas. She found her prettiest dress to wear with the help of her mother. The king and queen are waiting for his arrival just as excited as Elizabell.     3 hours later Thomas arrived. Elizabell was still so excited. When Thomas was lead into the great hall he seen all the food and people and it shocked him. Elizabell went over to say hi and to introduce everyone to him. While she was doing that Thomas though “wow she is nice.” He didn’t like the idea his parents had. This was not the first time his parents sent him to another kingdom to befriend either the prince or princess there.     Elizabell doesn't even know what Thomas was thinking. Thomas figures he has no choice but to do what his parents told him. He was graces for all the people he met and the delicious food. That night he went to his room and called his parents to tell them what happened. And that he didn’t want to do what they asked. They shook their heads at him like they didn’t care what he wanted to do. He was to do what they told him. Thomas knew that if he didn’t do what they told him something bad would happen.     Thomas went to sleep with the thought of how nice Elizabell has been. The next morning she was outside his door to give him a tour of the grounds. Then they went into the town and she showed him around there. They stopped for a snack around noon. As they were heading back to the castle Elizabell spotted a baby bird out of the nest. She picked her up and put her back in her nest. Thomas was smiling by the time she was down with bird.     She asked him “What are you smiling about?”     His answer was simple. “I have never met someone so kind before.”     “Well my parents taught me if you want your subjects to respect and be kind to you you have to respect and be kind to them. I count every living thing as my subjects.”     “My parents never taught me anything like that. I think I should talk with your parents. There are some things I have to tell them.”     Elizabell and Thomas finished their walk back to the castle in silence. They went through the halls to the great hall. The king and queen looked up when they entered. They were excited to see them.     They asked in unison “What are you two doing?”     Elizabell answered “Thomas says he has to tell you something.”     That is when Thomas started to talk. “My parents sent me to spy on you. And to befriend Elizabell so they can try to take over your kingdom. This isn’t the first time they have sent me to do this. I am sorry. On my first night here I called and told them I don’t want to do it but they wouldn’t listen to me. I just know if I don’t do it something bad will happen to me.”     “Oh dear. Don’t you worry Thomas we will figure something out,” said the queen.     Thomas asked “Your not mad at me?”     “Oh gosh of course not. You were just doing as you were told. You told us and that is all that matters. It’s not your fault,” answered the king.     They waved them off. Thomas and Elizabell left them. They went to their rooms. Elizabell felt used but she knows her father’s words are true. Thomas was not to blame.     The next morning everyone was busy. The staff was working around the clock. They had to take supplies to the great hall. Finally Elizabell was able to find out what was going on. Her parents called Thomas parents to see if there was a way to settle anything that was going on. She went to see her parents that morning like she does every morning. They were busy when Elizabell walked in that she walked out to see what there was to eat in the kitchen. When she got to the kitchen she found Thomas was already there.     A few hours pasted and Thomas’s parents was there. Elizabell was by ger parents side like any princess is when they have visitors. Thomas was by the side wall. The king and queen explained why everyone was there. Before thomas could think his parents had an army by there side. Elizabell’s parents didn’t seem surprised. The king only pushed a button on his chair and people came in from eac side.     Before anything moved any farther the king offered everyone in the room lower their weapons and everyone can leave unhurt on both sides. Thomas’s parents nodded their heads and turned around to leave. Thomas didn’t follow and his parents didn’t even turn to see if he was there. From that day on Thomas was with Elizabell growing up.     Many years later it was the day of Elizabell’s coronation. But before she could walk out there her parents came by to tell her that Thomas asked their permission to marry her and they said yes. She was so surprised. Her coronation turned in to her wedding on the same day. When the ceremony started Elizabell walked down to the alter with a huge smile on her face.     Within the I do’s Elizabell and Thomas was made king and queen.
