It wasn’t hard for her to get to the place Kalia was held. It wasn’t actually quite that far, and for that she was thankful. One state over, and she got there in record-breaking time, with her vampire speed. More than once she thought about getting Jasper, having him as backup, but she brushed it aside, knowing he couldn’t leave that easily. Even if she wasn’t really being watched, he was.
