Earl took a deep breath before he knocked on Blake’s front door, he held a big bouquet in one hand and flexed the other while nervously waiting for the door to open. Blake’s father opened up the door and he smiled wide as he saw Earl, he gestured for him to come inside.
“Come in beta, it’s so nice to see you again, thank you again for saving our daughter. We wish we could repay you in any way.”
Blake’s mother came to greet the beta with a big smile and arms stretched out, she engulfed Earl in a big hug.
“Are those flowers for Blake?”
Earl held the flowers out to the side to not squish them while hugging her mom.
“Yes Mrs. Harrison, I thought that Blake could use a little pick me up after what happened last night.”
