WILDFIRE Roselarae… The name echoed in her ears like a frost clinging to the first breath of spring. She continued walking down the quad, past the cobblestone paths that lead to the innards of campus. She didn’t know where she was going, just had to keep her legs moving. She took an alcove on the far east that led to an outside stone seating area surrounding a large fountain. In the center of the fountain sat a carved statue of a mermaid, and Elara finally slowed, stopping at a chaise lounge close by and studied the figure. The beautiful creature in its center was lounging gracefully, bare-breasted, her hair flowing effortlessly, with various shells clinging to the strands to tie off various thin braids, and a small tiara at her crown.
