Thirty-Six: Corbin
It was like old times. The day was great and having fun with Elijah was the best. I didn’t have to worry about my parents because I was doing what my big sister suggested. I was following my heart and it led me to Eli once again. For some reason I feel that it will always be this way. It may be just a feeling that I have but something is telling me to stay by his side tonight. I sigh as I let the sheet pool at my feet. Looking in the closet I find some sweats and shirts. No underwear but I guess I can go commando for a night. Walking to the door, I take a deep breath before opening it. I can do this; it is just Eli. My best friend and the one I have been in love with forever. I know him better than anyone else. I can do this without getting my feelings hurt.
