She couldn't fathom why Marcus would do this. Lucas, upon hearing the name, instantly grew pale. Marcus clearly had ill intentions toward Kelsey, even sending a caregiver as a gesture of goodwill. Lucas dismissed the caregiver with a cold glance. "We don't need your services here. Leave." The caregiver reluctantly departed and immediately called the contact. "Hello, this is the caregiver from bed 3. Kelsey no longer requires my services. Could you settle my wages for the past few hours?" Jones, on the other end, was surprised. "Why is she no longer in need of a caregiver? Did you provide her with meals since she woke up?
