The entire venue erupted in stunned murmurs.
George was so furious that his gums ached. He cursed inwardly, "Marcus's completely insane!"
Mia sneered with schadenfreude from behind, "Kelsey, that's one hundred million! Let's see you two keep bidding! If you can't pay up, you'll both be held here."
In the next moment, George raised Kelsey's hand high and shouted, "Two hundred million!"
Kelsey was utterly petrified.
Yet George remained composed—not for a lack of money!
This necklace had caught Kelsey's eye, and no one would snatch it away.
Marcus was equally stunned by the bid. Two hundred million was in a different league from twenty million.
