Kelsey's POV
I looked at Lucas, unsure what he was thinking.
Then he said, "I know a skilled friend who specializes in these tough surgeries. Don't worry. Your friend's grandma will have a smooth operation."
"That puts my mind at ease," I said, my worry easing since I trusted Lucas completely.
He had never lied to me. Most of my worries faded away.
But then I asked, "Can you tell me who your doctor friend is and where he is? My friend can't wait any longer. They need to set the surgery date ASAP."
I saw Lucas's fork pause mid-air.
He quickly replied, "My friend's always busy. He might not have time to meet you. But you can send me the medical records first. I'll pass them to him. Once he reviews them and confirms he can perform the surgery, he'll schedule it and come to operate hims
