Mia was shocked and confused. Yesterday, she had clearly heard Angela say that she would ask the organizer to end registration a day early, as the competition was hosted by the Larson Group, a company belonging to Digby, a Lycan from the Silver Moon Pack.
So Mia had come today hoping to see Kelsey humiliated.
But the staff smiled politely and said, "We haven't received any notice about ending registration early. This lady meets the criteria and can sign up."
Mia was furious. Her unstable Alpha aura flared, and gray fur sprouted on her nape.
Kelsey frowned. Was Marcus's silly sister trying to shift in front of humans?
She released her own aura, overpowering Mia with her pheromones.
Mia trembled, recalling some unpleasant memories, and quickly reined in her aura.
