Angela showed an awkward smile.
My wolf made mocking growls in my mind.
"Is she a Lycan? She is so stupid!"
I wanted my wolf to shut up.
But I agreed with it.
Kelsey looked at the audience and said, "I want to thank someone. He made me who I am and helped me achieve this award."
The chief planner asked curiously, "May I know who that man is?"
Kelsey smiled but did not answer. She picked up the trophy and walked down the stage in my direction.
I tried to keep calm.
I slowly sat up straight, and my heart rate accelerated.
I watched as Kelsey approached as wondering, "What does she want? Is she toying with me?"
Kelsey stood in front of me. I held my breath and sat up straighter.
All eyes followed her.
Kelsey looked down at me with a slight smile. "Excuse me."
